  • |RAJMA CURRY & JEERA RICE|

Ingredients:

2 tbsp ghee or oil
½ tsp cumin or jeera
1 tsp GINGER GARLIC PASTE
1 cup onions fine chopped 
1 cup tomato  puree
½ cup Rajma or kidney beans (or soaked 1 cup plus 1/3 cup)
2 cups water
1 green chili slit
2 tbsp coriander leaves
salt for taste
¼ tsp turmeric or haldi
¾ tsp red chilli powder
¾ tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp coriander powder 
¼ tsp cumin powder 
Method:1
Wash and soak rajma for 8 to 10 hours in ample water. 
Discard the water and rinse them well. Pour 2 cups fresh water.
Cook them in a pot or pressure cook until soft but not mushy. For pressure cooking allow 3 to 4 whistles on a medium flame

Method:2
1.Take a pan add oil and saute cumin until it sizzles.
Saute ginger garlic paste until a nice aroma comes out.
2.Add the cut onions  until it turns golden.
3.Saute tomatoes or puree until the raw smell goes 
4.Add all the spices one by one  turmeric , cumin powder, coriander powder , garam masala , red chilli powder and salt. Saute until oil begins to leave.
4.Add cooked rajma or kidney beans and pour rajma cooked water.(stock)
5.Add slit green chili.
6.On a low flame simmer for 10 to 15 mins.
7.Check if they are cooked nicely, When you mash the rajma it must be soft.
8.Sprinkle some coriander leaves
9.Serve rajma masala with jeera rice.

Beef Behari boti and Chicken seekh kebabs.. from Hot and Chilli f8 islamabad 
Piping hot and exceptionally delicious from the first to the last bite... Chicken Makhni handi boneless was not like  the regulars we eat here and there .. it was sooooo creamy and had depth to its flavour... simply mouthwatering.. Rs750/- for half handi .. its a little towards the higher end but its worth every penny..
Behari kebabs were duper moist , spicy n full of flavour.. top notch 👍🏼👌🏼Rs-400/-
Sekh kebabs .. deeeeelicious.. had a really awesome kasuri methi kick to it  rs 380/-
So in 1800 we got a 1.5 liter coke, nans and all this... ❤️❤️❤️❤️
