Happy Monday! (There is such a thing, don't worry 😉)

Beat those Monday blues & stay positive! Positive thinking is the idea that you can change your life by thinking positively about things. 🧠

This thought has been critiqued by numerous psychologists & believe that by forcing positive thoughts into your mind, it pushes away the negative ones ❌. These negative thoughts go away temporarily & return on a more intense level.

If this is the only method you have then i agree, it won't work properly, you won't feel maximum happiness & it will just store all those negative feelings that will eventually come back to haunt you. Personally, i use positive thinking to help motivate me to be productive & get into a good mindset. This then helps me work through my issues in a productive way & i am in a good place doing this, as opposed to being unmotivated and wallowing in my low mood, stresses & worries.

One way we can try to be more positive is to start beating those Monday blues! 😰 Studies suggest that people who are stressed at work, tend to just live for the weekends. Some things you can try are:
•
Treat yourself on Monday's, give yourself something to look forward to 🍕🍫📺💃🏻🛍
•
Figure out why you feel Monday's are so bad, is there something you need to change? (E.g. career? 👔)
•
Plan more things to do during the week to look forward to, it doesn't have to be anything big, just so you have enough continous joy spread throughout the week & not just for 2 days. 👩‍🍳👨‍🎨🏃‍♀️👫🍲🍿🥂

Keep your sunny side up 🌞, try to keep positive, you can get through this, we are all braver than we realise 💪
