Dogs are the best ! Unconditional love throughout and absolutely lovable. Do the most foolish things and your doggo would still never judge you and come wagging their tails to show you are the Awesomest !! This doggo along with her sister doggo is everyone's pet in our area. They have different names and am sure we have confused them with them enough to not listen to names anymore.
I sometimes wonder what this doggo must have named me.
What would you ask your pets if for one day you could "literally" communicate with them ?

We finally visited a couple of the temples in Chiang Mai today! Did you know there’s 300 temples in Chiang Mai? So only another 298 to go!
I’ve been a little MIA on here the last few weeks. Totally unintentional, but my mind has been a bit elsewhere trying to figure out the logistics of moving to Dubai in a little over two weeks. There’s a lot of moving pieces as you can imagine mixed in with the start of anxious, excited nerves starting to creep up. I’ve always lived for the next chapter and never really let fear of an unknown future hold me back, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I don’t experience these nerves, as well. I keep reminding myself of something @jera.bean talks about often: it’s ok to be nervous, that just means that it matters to you! What’s important is to FEEL THE FEAR & DO IT ANYWAYS ⚡️
Ayutthaya is one of those towns that I pretty much recommend to every single friend, relative, or reader who I’ve ever advised on a trip to Thailand😃With its incredible sights, slice of small town Thai life, and manageable size, it’s hard to imagine anyone who would be immune to its charms✨😍 Did you visit sweet, historic little Ayutthaya❓
Another trip done and dusted. I need something else on the books to look forward to. Berlin was magical, as per. Does anyone else have any trips planned soon so I can live vicariously through them? 📸 thanks to the fab @amystutz

Do you see the profile of a woman’s face in the mountain? There are special hidden images to be found all over Guatemala if you know where to find them. This is definitely one of my favorite things about coming back year after year, getting to know and recognize the landscapes; seeing her face is like Mother Nature saying “hello.” 💫

The last few weeks in India have been torture because I’ve been watching friends eat amazing things while I’ve been living off plain toast and plain rice and for a while I couldn’t even keep them down 😢 (feeling a lot better now!). .
Looking at photos of past meals is making me hungry, and before I get started on my India photos I want to finish off my Malaysia ones. 🥘 This is curry mee, one of my fave Malay dishes made with noodles, chicken, curry sauce, fresh chilli, tamarind and mint. £1! Most cities in Malaysia have a Chinatown and a Little India so it’s a great place to try both types, as well as typical Malay dishes like nasi lemak, laksa and this curry mee pictured! Have you ever tried Malaysian food? ❤️
Last year, I took a road trip to the east coast. While driving from Washington DC to New Jersey, I got fed up with the traffic and wondered what randomness existed off the beaten path. I randomly picked a park, hoping for a hike (my first one alone, ever)...it had “rocks” in the name and that was enough for me. I parked, and started down the trail. I could feel the fear screaming within, from all the times I’ve been told to be afraid to go anywhere alone, all the times I’ve been told I can’t do something. My brain started to believe all those, telling me to just get back in the car. I realized however that THIS is exactly what I’ve been wanting for so long. To travel. To hike. To experience nature. To live. I knew I didn’t want to wait for anyone else to want to do what I do, I knew I needed to give myself permission to do what I wanted, to live how I want to live. So, I continued down this trail. When I arrived at the top, with an incredible view, there was @jselkes and @meeko_pnw (and another furry friend not pictured here). It was another one of those moments on the trip where I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be. I met the most perfect stranger I could in that moment. To meet another female hiking seemed to just strengthen what I had decided at the beginning of that hike. And after having felt so much uncertainty, this stranger was so kind and welcoming, immediately! She just so happened to recently move across the country, to the place I was going to be visiting for 2 weeks. We met up again, and just like the first time, it seemed like exactly what I needed at that moment. ❤️ @jselkes : You’re an awesome human and I hope we get to hang out again soon! Absolutely loved getting to know you more. #travel#explore#wander#womenwhotravel#womenwhohike#washington#seattle

I smile just looking at this photo! 📸 I remember feeling a little bashful but mostly honored to be dressed by the Pa’O tribe during my trek through Myanmar 🇲🇲 The Pa’O believe that their ethnic group descends from a female dragon who fell in love with a shaman 🐉 To pursue her love, this female dragon turned herself into a beautiful woman, and would only return to her dragon form in secret as she slept. One day, the shaman discovered her as she lay sleeping. Outraged that she was actually a dragon, he left her. When the dragon realized what had happened, she fled the forest heartbroken, leaving behind two eggs that she had laid in secret 🥚 The next day, monks walking through the forest discovered the eggs, and decided to take them back to the monastery. To their great surprise, the eggs soon hatched two humans, and so the Pa’O tribe was born! The traditional, red head wraps and often black scarves that the Pa’O women wear pay tribute to their fiery dragon ancestor whose pursuit of love brought the Pa’O tribe into creation🧣🖤 🐉
Sharing awe, sharing food, sharing smiles, sharing stories - that’s what travel means to me 💕 Thank you, my dear friend, Zaw, for sharing all of those things with me! 🇲🇲 #myanmar#joy

Live your best life. .⚜️. The 3rd place I stayed was the Renaissance in the heart of the capital. From the reflecting pool, we could see locals celebrating carnival among palm trees in the streets below. Guest are welcome to visit the private island. I went two times before leaving. My Insta story and IGTV has a walk-through.
