  • 😱I’ve been eating Keto for years. Before I knew the name Keto existed! Problem....🥗😆 🤬I never stuck to the plan. I’d lose my first couple of pounds then I’d always quit. This time around I’m sticking it out. This recipe has always been a favorite. I can’t take full credit. I originally learned this recipe from a former colleague Mrs. Chanel Moore years ago. I later added my own twist with more ingredients over the years.
Ingredients: 2 eggs, 2 cans boneless salmon, 1 cup Fresh spinach, 1 tablespoon Crystal Hot Sauce, 1/4 cup sliced onions, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. 1:4 teaspoon Lawry’s Seasoning, 1 tablespoon Olive oil, 1/3 cup mixed peppers, 1/3 cup diced tomatoes, 1/4 cup three cheese kraft cheddar.  Ingredients: Add oil, Sauté onions until soft, Add salmon, Add Seasonings, Add Hot Sauce, Add Add Spinach, Allow Salmon to Fry & Spinach begins to wilt. Cover Stir and chop into small pieces. Prepare Omelette using 2 eggs, and peppers. Add cheese and top off with more cheese, tomatoes and shrimp if desired.   • I’ve officially hit my first weight loss stall that’s not due to shark week 😩😭😂

But seriously I have been around the same weight for the last eight days and even though we always here that stalls will happen and to keep pushing through... THIS SHIT IS FRUSTRATING 😩 I wanted to be a certain wait by my birthday (Sunday) but I’m not to positive I will hit that because of this stall. I will be switching a few things up this week to see if that changes anything. I can definitely feel a difference and I think the stall is due to my gaining muscle. I am on week 4 of @trainingwithanthony Gym guide and I can feel myself getting stronger! I even did the most dips I have ever done at the gym this morning! 💪🏽💪🏽

I’m posting this to show my update with my goal outfit! There is a difference of only 6 pounds. The pants even button! I am not going to let this stall stop my from pursuing my goals!

  • TODAY’S TOP FITNESS TRENDS
 Are you on top of all the fitness and food trends today? If not, keep reading!

1. Wearable technology- everyone is wearing a Fitbit, apple watch, or garmin. These devices are almost more popular than those wild donuts! 
2. Functional training. Any workout that will correlate to your activities of daily life is functional. Working with twisting and rotating movements, squatting (the bending and lifting motions) are all function.

3. Keto. Yep this has been a trend for a very long time. It has been proven to help in some drastic situations for a short period of time. Form my perspective, I do not see it to be healthy to maintain for any time over a month. If you just pay attention to the calories you are consuming and expending, that should help you reach your goals.

4. Group training. This one is huge inside of any gym you walk in to. Group exercise classes are on the rise to get people of all fitness levels together for a great workout. 
5. Crazy donuts/ drinks etc. Frosted flakes on donuts, Oreo pieces in your coffee. I’m not sure why these food items are trending in fitness (just because you can… doesn’t mean you should), but if you follow IIFYM (if it fits your macros) then by all means, go for it. 
6. Body positivity. This is one, if not my most favorite fitness trends that I hope stays around. Fitness isn’t about hating yourself and hating what you look like. It’s about making a change to enhance the quality of your life!

Small update for you guys. I am back home from the hospital and recovering from minor surgery on my neck. I’m in quite a bit of pain but I’m feeling good and still trying to remain positive despite circumstances. 🥰⁣

Feeling super grateful I had my cousins partner speak to me almost a month ago about the business opportunity I am now using to make an income from home. 😭✨ ⁣

Times like now when I always seem to find myself recovering from surgery, I finally don’t feel so useless! 🙌🏽 Being on bed rest and being able to earn a small income while helping others through their health journeys makes me feel so blessed 💕⁣

I have a massive dream to see my business grow and my team grow. I believe that with some hard work, determination and perseverance I will get there! 🙈💥 Was feeling quite defeated earlier today with the fact I’ve had now over 10 surgeries this last year and a bit, but I’m not going to let this reoccurring problem stop me from achieving my goals. 💪🏽⁣

  • I knew getting ready for a competition would change me physically, I didn’t know it was going to change me mentally!

I chose to do the competition because I started to gain muscle and lean out and I was shocked at my back progress. I told my trainer at the time I wanted to look like a competitor, but didn’t want to compete. When I saw the slight transformation, I decided why the hell not! I can do this!
*
It took me another 3 years to make it to stage. It took me that long because it took me that long to get my act together and be 100% committed to the nutrition and the workouts.
*
I got down to 104 pounds at 13% body fat. However, I didn’t expect it to change me mentally.
*
Doing the competition proved to myself that I can stick to my commitments. Staying on a diet plan and workout plan for five months was super hard. There were times I wanted to cheat, and times I wanted to skip the gym....but I wanted the stage more. When one truly commits to something there will be no excuses to keep them from getting it.

I’m a tougher person now because of it. I don’t make excuses for not getting stuff done. Instead I find a way to meet my commitments. *
So one doesn’t have to do a competition to build this skill. Do you want to know how you can build it?

Hop over to @andyfrisella page and go under his #75hard challenge. His challenge is just as close to how hard preparing for my competition was. The purpose of his challenge is build that mental toughness so you can complete what you start and learn to stop making excuses!

I’m doing the challenge, I recommend you do it as well. You truly learn a lot about yourself when you truly test yourself.

  • I knew getting ready for a competition would change me physically, I didn’t know it was going to change me mentally!

    I chose to do the competition because I started to gain muscle and lean out and I was shocked at my back progress. I told my trainer at the time I wanted to look like a competitor, but didn’t want to compete. When I saw the slight transformation, I decided why the hell not! I can do this!
    *
    It took me another 3 years to make it to stage. It took me that long because it took me that long to get my act together and be 100% committed to the nutrition and the workouts.
    *
    I got down to 104 pounds at 13% body fat. However, I didn’t expect it to change me mentally.
    *
    Doing the competition proved to myself that I can stick to my commitments. Staying on a diet plan and workout plan for five months was super hard. There were times I wanted to cheat, and times I wanted to skip the gym....but I wanted the stage more. When one truly commits to something there will be no excuses to keep them from getting it.

    I’m a tougher person now because of it. I don’t make excuses for not getting stuff done. Instead I find a way to meet my commitments. *
    So one doesn’t have to do a competition to build this skill. Do you want to know how you can build it?
