Honestly, I’m a long way off from where I want to be, but being vegan has gotten me closer than I’ve ever been. I’ll be 36 this summer and I’m in better shape now than I was at 21 (even with the injuries I currently have). I think that speaks for itself🙏🏼🥦🦍. #govegan

  • I'm happy that everyone and their grandma have jumped on the Celery juice bandwagon but I have never seen Celery at this price.  I miss the days when it was .79 cents.  Unfortunately I'm passing on Celery till this price changes.  I refuse to break my bank when I can get nutrients from other fruits and vegetables.  I've been juicing celery juice since Jan 2018 so it's not a new phase in my life..just wish these prices would jump back down 🌿🌿 #CeleryJuice

Background: I have to be super careful with the left shoulder in certain positions due to complex long term stuff*, and had to take a break from left side arm breakers altogether for about a year. Have been trying them occasionally the past six months but haven’t been stable enough to get my other hand off. Was totally surprised (sound on to hear the excitement) and not sure where that’s come from but certainly not complaining!!!!

Roll into arm breaker feeling good. Lowers....well, they need some work. 
Note: not advised to do them at the end of a hardcore 3 hour training session without a spotter when you haven’t done them in close to a year 🙊🙈

*walking (?hanging) proof that ‘severe and complex’ multifactory injuries CAN be rehabilitated without surgery. Will do a separate post some time soon, but in short: yes there are times surgery is necessary, but in many cases they should be the LAST option. Too many knee jerk surgeries happen in circus - and other - fields. More on that later 🙃

  • When your quads are dead from 19.5 so they starfish instead of bend. 
And when your hand is so messed up from 19.5 that you catch a snatch and re-rip it.

19.5 took a toll... I’m terrified to find out how I’m gonna feel tomorrow.. Still worked up to a not so pretty 95% power snatch though 💁‍♀️

Mix all together in blender. Cranberries really give it a nice kick. Had this before my workout💪
Blake is a fan if my smoothies. They got some bananas before I blended it😄🍌🐶🐶

  • Wet and glorious vacation run in the Sonoma Valley this afternoon. I’m striving to strike a balance between celebrating where I am right now while pushing myself to getting better as I’ve completely given up on the notion of perfection. There is no destination. It’s all a journey. Shedding winter weight while striving to love who I am at this moment, that’s the shit, isn’t it?
