30 seconds after taking this picture I rolled up my sleeves and jeans and chugged an entire bottle of water because I was SO HOT. 🔥🔥
When I packed for Texas the high temps were around 70. When I got there, a heat wave showed up and it was 90 by midday. What?!
Has this ever happened to you for one reason or another? Thinking you packed well, but after getting to the destination you were wayyy off the mark?

Thompson Road is one of my favorite places in the whole world. Shout out to my mom for moving me to Kula when I was 16 and taking her (then) begrudging teenager on walks in this magical place! #upcountrymaui#soloadventure

Bruges at Night 🌚
Although Bruges is mostly a day city for tourists, staying over night allows you to see the city in an entirely different light (pun intended). As the crowds disappear, the city becomes quiet, and the canals are calm-and still. You feel as though you have the city to yourself. It’s also a great time to snap some photos!

Traded our puffy winter coats for our pink wind breakers as we head to the ocean — courtesy of the Sunshine state rather than the Golden state.
Three years ago @kathryn.ayer and I started friendcationing together and this year we snuck in an extra trip in addition to our regular vacation.
Find yourself a friend who can wake up at 4 am, survive crazy bike rides, flex on travel itineraries... We all need our people — those who show up for the fun and the mess. That’s true community.
Shoot a text over to one of your people and thank them for being in your life. We all need a little more encouragement in our lives!
In the meantime, we’ll be looking for ice cream places near Chattanooga TN or Melbourne FL — any rec’s?
There are several redwood parks that stretch the California coast and Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park is the last in line. The 10,000 acre park contains 7% if all the old-growth redwoods left in the world! @helenabradbury .
Have you ever visited the giant Redwood trees? If so, which park did you see them in? Let us know in the comments!

I'm not really sure where in the world I'll be in April. Or May. Or June. Or July. Or the rest of 2019 for that matter...
. . .
And that used to really freak me the FUCK out. And it still kinda does. But I also just have faith that everything will work out somehow.
. . .
Because it always has before. So why wouldn't it now?
This little cottage is actually a tearoom - not for vegans, but beautiful nonetheless. It changes its look with the season. Just follow the location tag to see it in different colours, depending the season. #DiscoverWales#AlongTheWay

It’s 9am and I’m up and bright and bushy tailed! .
Jk. I’m sleepy🤣 but I want to reach my goals more than I wanna sleep🤷🏼♀️ so I’m up early for a fun meeting to talk about all the things I learned when I was in Texas! Which was A LOT! So it’s good to reflect back☺️ .
Can y’all believe I packed for 3-4 days in this Away for the Weekender?! I was determined to not check a bag and I did it!👏🏽👊🏼😁💯 I’m not a light packer so I thought it would be fun to challenge myself! Could you do it?! #overpackersunite
PS: Gloria is always going to photobomb. Always🤣🐱

Traveling is all about experiences. They can happen in terms of culture, people, places but most importantly with ones own self.
I’ve been traveling since I could walk. One of my cherished childhood memories is of building sand castles on the beach with my dad in Singapore. Growing up, my parents were avid travelers and they instilled the love of exploring and learning through travel in me. As a result I have traveled to 60+ countries and I have passed on this love of travel to my 4 year old, who has traveled to 30+ countries.
The world experiences and knowledge that I have gained from traveling around the world- be it a desert safari in Morocco, hiking the base camp of Mt. Everest, traveling through Switzerland or a summer in Colorado, cannot be taught in any classroom.
I encourage you to plan a trip for both spring and summer. It doesn’t need to be international, it can be just a local trip. Regardless I can help you plan it.
First day of exploring Kathmandu! ✨ I was meant to come here 4 years ago, but then the devastating earthquake happened. The effects of this natural disaster are still very visible today. My guide was very knowledgeable and gave me a glimpse into what Nepal has to offer. 04.00am alarm tomorrow to get ready for some sunrise mountain views!🏔

The Umbrella sky project in Old San Juan is beautiful and symbolic of hope as the people continue to recover from the hurricane. #UnderTheUmbrellas#SanJuan
