Got to Brazil in early December. Tried to leave, booked a flight right back. Why? Well, you’re lookin at one reason. A major highlight from my 2+ months in Brazil was Arraial do Cabo, a coastal town (and nearby escape from Rio!) known for its white sand beaches and the picturesque stairway that you see here.
But this coastal stretch of paradise is only one of the many amazing natural places in Brazil. From the Amazon to Iguazu Falls to some of the best islands and beaches in the world- it’d probably take a handful of trips to be able to visit them all. I did my research, and while I only made it to 5, I curated a list of 13 must-see natural wonders of Brazil and turned it into a mini-website called a roll using @bublup. If you plan to visit Brazil, be sure to check it out- it’s linked in my stories!
When you think of Brazil, what’s the first thing that comes to mind?

✨Beautiful, soft, white sand beaches and floating islands in the distance. ✨
Sleepy wombats in their dens, wallabies hiding in the shrubs, lizards sunbathing and seagulls patrolling the beach.
Couldn’t ask for more. 🙌🏻

NEWS: That feeling when you FINALLY launch your blog! 💕💕💕
Yep, it’s 2019 and while it might seem almost painfully late to board the blogging train, here I am, showing up with my Oyster Card and ready to touch on. While I’ve had my Instagram account for 7 years now, I previously never had time for a blog as I worked full time as a graphic designer. But I’ve decided I want a place where my images and words can live grow old and get fat together. So I preset to you my blog: kelseyinlondon.com
It would honestly mean the world to me if you guys checked it out. I’ve got some posts up including an introduction to “Who the bloody hell is Kelsey Heinrichs” and my most asked question “How to get followers on Instagram: the no bullshit guide” (spoiler alert: I swear a lot on my blog) and of course I’ve shared my top 20 photography locations in Paris so you can snap the perfect candid-yet-not-so-candid insta pic. Have a read and let me know what you think and what kind of posts you’re interested in seeing next from me.
I’m so excited to have another platform to connect with you guys and share with you my tidbits of information, how-tos, drunk induced ramblings, and thoughtful musings. I hope it helps you on your journey or at least provides a lil insight into the girl behind the overly filtered Instagram pictures.
Cute and colourful Italian towns are my new favourite hobby ✨
This is the second day we’ve been slowly driving along the Ligurian Coast just exploring one town to the next!!
Google maps has been leading us to the highway and we’ve started the habit of doing the opposite of what it says. Turn left to leave the Mediterranean Sea and cute towns? Nope we’ll turn right instead and stay where we are, thank you very much.😂
What google maps fails to understand is that it’s about the journey, NOT the destination. Google maps’s goal is to get us to cinque terre the fastest way possible but our goal is to enjoy the journey so there’s a conflict of interest.
Anyway, maybe I’ll create an app one day that will take people along the scenic route NOT the boring one. For now we’ll enjoy the scenic route anyway because this journey that is life is nothing short of epic!!🙏🏻🙏🏻

Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don't wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it's at work, alone or with your family and friends. Every minute should be enjoyed.
Is there anything better than a lighted book tunnel? 🤩 You can obviously see the sheer happiness in my face here 😂 Seriously the coolest bookstore I’ve ever been in!
Starting to plan my trip to Banff/Jasper/Yoho National Park and Calgary!! 🇨🇦 this will be my first time in Canada and all I want to see is a moose or two and some mountains tbh 😂 have you ever been? Accepting all recommendations! 🙏🏻

Doesn’t Sidi Bou Said look like the Greek Islands? Loved seeing the blue colored doors and windows everywhere! 💙 .
Sidi Bou Said Yunan Adalarına benzemiyor mu? Mavi kapılar ve pencereler çok güzel 💙
New plan: abandon all responsibilities and move to Ilha Grande.
Paradise, by definition, is this island. It’s pedestrian only, meaning you won’t find any cars, taxis or motorbikes speeding around. There are a plethora, yes, plethora, of beaches and nearby islands to explore...and you either have to hike through the jungle to get to them or take a boat. The water is warm, and crystal clear, and the sand is flawless. Amazingly enough, the food prices haven’t been totally jacked up, and there’s loads of hostels and Airbnbs that offer affordable accommodation. The best part is it’s only two hours south of Rio. Sound like your kinda place?
