I know the 10 year challenge ended like 2 months ago but I saw this old photo and could barely recognize myself. While everyone around me is doing gender transition photos, I want to show more photos of presentation changes. Transition is so often represented in finite terms. However, the fact is that we’re always transitioning. It’s not just one side to the other, it’s more like a constantly flow of day-to-day transformations that we use to grow closer to who we want to be. My transition into gender nonconformity may have had a greater impact on my life than socially or medically transitioning. I felt uncomfortable with my feminine clothing but couldn’t figure the root of the problem for years. There was an utter lack of representation of other gender nonconforming trans women in the 2000’s. Eventually, I realized how much more confident I was in clothes designed for men. The act of wearing clothes for anyone besides women may delegitimize my gender to the public but I’m not here to cater to those who demean trans people. I’m here to create the representation I didn’t have as a teenager while working with others to reclaiming our narratives.

She noticed a large grease stain on the front of her coveralls as she stood up. A few half-hearted wipes told her it was a lost cause. That’s what she got for wearing her good coveralls for a teardown. What had possessed her to even do so? Brionie hadn’t noticed. It would take more than that to get her attention
Good morning childs, have a good day!
