  • very emotional song and very emotional cover 💔 adele always was a very important person and singer for me, because i started trying to sing when i heard her song “rolling in the deep”, and maybe one day i’ll sing it for you too! but today i’m here to share this sadly beautiful song “someone like you” and i wish that none of you’ll ever experience the feelings, that are described here. but always remember: “sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead”. #guitar#cover#guitarcover#adele#adelecover#someonelikeyou#tragic#lyrics#love

  • Can I get real for a Sec? Like #reeeal
I see major coverage on the #planecrash in Ethiopia ... and the #shooting at the mosque in New Zealand #countrymourning .. #Tragic, news headlines scream...total life loss= 207
Meanwhile...in last 24 hours-
About 29,000 children under the age of five – 21 each minute – died, mainly from preventable causes. ~unicef
#ReadThatAgain.
As we watch this world focusing on the tragedy happening internationally from our flat screen TVs, and in our homes with plumbing and electricity, while our bellies are full, and we weep in our comfy beds with clean sheets and warm pajamas.... can we just recognize how FAR we have drifted from caring, really caring, about others.

I mean, it sure feels good to shake our heads and throw out accusations at the folks involved in allowing the Boeing jet to crash, and the monsters who would attack a mosque in such horrorific fashion... I mean, IM MOT RESPONSIBLE... but THOSE guys. They are #Unacceptable

But Nicole, I mean, kids. Dying. 29,000, TODAY. By preventable reasons. (Hunger, preventable and treatable disease, thirst) wait... that’s more uncomfortable. I mean... what can I DO? Like, I’m not R I C H. The guy next door is, he SHOULD help.
I feel a Word coming... stay tuned. I’m fired up. #IcareAboutYourEternalLife #JesusSaidThisNotMe

21 kids die every minute. 1 every 3 seconds. 💔, Nic

  • Grief Soup (Full poem on website, AngelaBraxtonJohnson.com)
.
.
A poem I wrote this past Saturday (3/16/19) while trying to process my tears and sadness over all the craziness happening in the world today, while also processing the sadness occurring in my own life and community.
.
.
In the greater community, how horribly our country has handled immigrants! Then there’s death, homelessness, tragic storms, floods and fires causing mass destruction, mass shootings, the ill and hateful treatment of marginalized folks like people who are black, brown, fat, female, immigrants, LGBTQ, etc. .
.
Then in my personal life, as I process my own pain and trauma (which I recently published a book about, called Who’s Watchin’ Me? Season One [Link in Bio], book 1 of a 3-4 book series, while being there for people close to me experiencing trauma, physical illness, grief and loss.
.
.
As a sensitive and empathic person, I sometimes see, dream or discern something before it even happens and am called to pray for those tough situations in advance.
.
.
I feel honored that God uses me this way but to feel and see so much can also be extremely challenging. .
.
I’m praying for New Zealand and for all of the tragic and traumatic situations that cuase us grief. .
.
What things are cooking in your ‘Grief Soup’ today?

  • I usually don’t post things about all the tragic hateful events that happen, because sometimes it gets way too much for me to handle. Sometimes the world is too much for me to handle. I often don’t want to be here. Often I want to get out of here, but instead I know I have a job to do. I have to help...even if it is just spreading kindness. Sometimes it’s hard to ever focus on my personal life because I’m always focussing on the world and the state that it’s in. I wish I could make all the bullshit go away. I wish I could be a super hero and swoop down and save peoples lives. I wish I wish I wish. I’m just one person though. I need more people to stand by me and spread the love. Why is it so hard to remind people that you have to respect other people in life even if they don’t believe in the same thing you do? Hate never wins. Bullying never wins. I don’t know which way the world and society is going to be honest and it’s terrifying to me. I stand by New Zealand 🇳🇿 I stand by Muslims 💕I stand by love ❤️ I stand by freedom 🌈 I stand by equality ⭐️ The thing is is that terrorists want you to be fearful. Don’t give in. Grief, come together as a community and show them what love is. Love will always win. Kindness will always win. If you don’t know how to help....firstly just be kind. Be respectful. Be human. Be human. Be human. We are all in this together. #newzealand #love #life #live #kindness #compassion #world #earth #heartbreaking #tragic #society #respect #equality #human #spreadkindness

  • This scene truly demonstrates Rangos heroism, as he leads the American Troops onto the beaches of Normandy. (June 6, 1944) This was one of the bravest scenes in the movie, I cried so hard when Sergeant Turley was gunned down by one of Germany's many machine guns. As Rango held Turley gingerly in his arms, and Turely said with his final dying breath "I love you Sheriff." 😭😭😭😭literally so sad. #Rango #Sad #sadscenesinmovies #Normandy #ww2 #sosad #tragic

  • Today marks 9 years since 12 month old Kyleigh passed away.

Kyleigh Mae McDaniel-Robinson was born on March 9, 2009 to Mackenzie McDaniel and Nicholas Robinson in New Hampshire, USA. They they split shortly after Kyleigh was born. Mackenzie began dating Alexander Stolte and started frequently leaving Kyleigh alone with him.

On March 18, 2010, Alexander called Kyleigh's mother three times on the night of her death. He would call her to tell her that one of Kyleigh's eyes looked droopy, then to say that she would not go to sleep, the third call was to tell her that Kyleigh was not breathing and he had called 911. Kyleigh was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Kyleigh had a fractured leg at the time of her death that was in process of healing. She also had multiple head injuries aswell as bleeding inside her brain. Kyleigh had four broken ribs and two broken fingers.

The mother had only been dating Alexander for about three months. Police say that he had been drinking, which at first he denied. Kyleigh's mother had only asked Alex to watch Kyleigh for a couple hours while she went to work.

According to the police, Alexander tried to say that Kyleigh had fallen over and that is what caused the injuries that had killed her that night. Kyleigh died of blunt trauma to her head. Kyleigh had turned one just a couple weeks before she died. Alexander Stolte was sentenced to 15-30 years in prison.

  • Tragic Flaw
The #tragic #flaw with all of this was that the Old Order could not be established by a series of #diplomats #meeting in Vienna or a group diplomats holding sporadic meetings. The alliances between throne and altar or King and Nobles could not act to stop or prevent change, or the forces of #change and #continuity during this era. The active forces of order where the monarchs, aristocrats, clergy and diplomats like Metternich. Moderate conservative accepted slow change the #Metternichian #Conservatives lumped all constitutional or national change into the same basket. What they did not understand was that by putting #Liberals, #Democrats, #Socialists and #Nationalists in the same basket you made enemies of them all and were unable to co-op any of them. Early 19th century Liberals were fairly moderate but they were no more accepted by the Metternichians than the radical Nationalists.
This failure to read their contemporaries made conflict all the more likely. The forces of order willing used military and bureaucratic measures to repress the forces of change. Using spies, militias, armies they used whatever means necessary to prevent change, Liberal Great Britain was no different as evidenced by the #Peterloo massacre where troops charged on horses against a crowd demonstrating for a reform of Parliament. Over 500 people were wounded and a number of people killed. Events like this happened in Great Britain and the continent in places like Italy, Poland and Germany. Depending on what a group’s definition of order was they would hold conflicting positions artisans who traditionally belong to guilds which protected their terms and conditions of labor were not very happy about the new mechanization of industry that begin to rise on the continent. Those artisans tended to break or damage machinery because it cost them jobs. The peasants once they had land wanted less contact with the state. This reflected the appeal of conservatism to different groups which could flare at any time.

All of these deaths are unnecessary. NO ONE needs to eat animals. With thousands of different fruits and veggies for human consumption, animals are not necessary in our diets. Don’t kill them. NOTE: These numbers from the kill count are based off averages.

  • The final (?) Chapter of Killing Stalking. I knew it would end horribly. Things between a sociopath and an older, weak man will almost never work out. The book was beautiful.. Yet, I feel like there has to be a little more.. This manga was the best I've read. While it has ruined me and turned me psychotic by the slightest bit, it was amazing to read. Hope Koogi makes amazing works like this.. Let's hope for some news

  • Rest in Peace to this beautiful, amazing, talented musician and young woman. We lost some real talent Friday night, been a little disconnected from social media lately so I haven't been up to date to what's been going on and just a little while ago as I was on my snapchat I saw this horrible and tragic news. My prayers and condolences to Christina Grimmie's family. I remember watching her videos a few years ago, first video I watched was the Miley Cyrus medley that I fell in love with and listened to about a million times a day. She didn't deserve to die in the tragic way that she did. #prayforchristina #christinagrimmie 💔😢 #tragic #gonebutneverforgotten #wemissyou #thatvoice #medley #mileycryus #mileycyruscover #cover #instapic

She didn't deserve to die in the tragic way that she did. #prayforchristina #christinagrimmie 💔😢 #tragic #gonebutneverforgotten #wemissyou #thatvoice #medley #mileycryus #mileycyruscover #cover #instapic
