⏰Clock Change Confusion ⏰
.
There's often a bit of confusion and panic when the clocks go forward and they're springing forward 👉🏻NEXT👈🏻Sunday✌🏻✨ .

This confusion is 💯understandable(please tell me I’m not the only one? 🤦🏼‍♀️) BUT #springforward is often easier than #rollback. It can certainly help an early riser to wake at a more civilized time! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
.
Here’s my #toptips to avoiding the #clockchangeconfusion: . . ⏰ It's one hour honestly and most Smalls will adjust all by themselves without you doing anything within a day or ✌🏻 .
.
⏰If you want to prep ahead starting from Sunday put them down for their naps and bedtime 10/15 minutes earlier every couple of days. When Sunday is here your routine will be an hour behind in prep for the clock change 👌🏻 .
⏰Try and stick to your usual bedtime routine as consistently as you can .
.
💥Good luck💥 and sending you all lots of sleep solidarity💛#spring #springforward#clockchange #clockchangeconfusion #clockchangecarnage #clockconfusion #ticktock #timetochangetheclock #careitout #sleepconsultant #sleepexpert #sleeptips

  • A few tips to end the week... 🙋🏼 ✅ Adding weight to your chin ups can help you increase bodyweight reps in the future 🙌 ✅ Don’t pull up with your torso in a 45 degree hyperextension; push those heels back, power those hips forward and squeeze from the hamstrings ✅ Use DB’s for push ups for more depth and to stop wrist pain ✅ Remember to drive your hips back first in a BACK squat; it’s very different to a goblet squat ✅ If you have a gym buddy to assist you with Nordic curls, make sure they weigh more than you! Otherwise, you’ll have to find an alternative. Also, as you can see on my last rep, make sure you flex your calves/drive into the balls of the feet ✅ When using your @santefitnessgluteband remember to hit the lateral movements in your session too 🙌 ✅ When you box squat, push your hips right back and make sure your knees don’t come in front of the toes when pushing back up 🍑😉 ✅ Try to contract hard in your iso hold glute bridge abductions so they don’t fall down ✅ Eccentric/negatives are a great focus when developing strength. My push press was a 4 count down movement 🤘🏽 Santé x

  • We really recommend running with the correct kit:
.
- Running belt: distributing the pull of your dog to your centre of gravity
- Bungee lead: absorbs any sudden movements from your dog
- Canicross harness: comfortable, properly fitted. A regular, lightweight harness is OK too (no restrictive harnesses or leads on collars).
.
You and your dog will feel much more comfortable and in control. Canicross kit doesn't have to be expensive and you'll get your money's worth when you become a canicross addict 😛.
.
We bring spares to our events for participants who don't yet have the kit. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to borrow a running belt and bungee lead.
.
It's also important to wear comfortable clothes appropriate for the weather and suitable trainers (or invest in trail shoes if you're really off-roading it).

Want to learn how to build your Home Business in a simple easy stress free way? Or work closer with me? Click the link in my bio 👆👆 and join my community!
.
What negative self talk are you telling yourself? Are you settings goals or tasks that needs to be done but you don't end up doing it?
.
If so, it's mainly because you are playing inside of your comfort zone and are not stretching challenging yourself enough to get uncomfortable.
.
Building a Home Business is hard work and when you don't take the necessary actions and give excuses as to why you are not taking action, the reality is you are not really serious about hitting and achieving the goals that you've set for yourself! If you was, you would put the work in!
.
Now I'm not saying its going to be easy and you won't be faces with challenges which you are going to but in order for things to change you've got to stop the negative nonsense of why you can't achieve it and just do the work. It may take you a bit longer, but so what?
.
When you put your mind to it, you can do the activities that needs to be done if you want to but your excuses that you are giving is not serving it helping you...
.
Let get of the nonsense you are telling yourself and get to work now! The question I ask you is How badly do you want to achieve success? That's what it comes down to...
.
Are you mindful of your negative self talk you have with yourself or not?

  • HOW TO CARE FOR ROSES - I thought I’d share some top tips with you on how to pick and care for roses so that you get the most out of your blooms. Swipe for images 👉🏼 Step 1 - Remove all thrones and leaves that would end up underneath the water line in your vase. Fill your chosen vase with cold clean water and add a tiny spot of bleach. This will help stop any bacteria 🦠 growing. Step 2 - cut the bottom of your roses with a sharp knife or scissors diagonally, and place straight into water. Step 3- When buying roses check for bruising. Any brown on the petals is an indication they have been dropped or crushed. The petals should feel and look firm and have no marks on them.
Step 4- The guard petals around the edge of the rose are what protect it while it’s in bud. When the rose fully opens you won’t be able to see them.
If you would prefer they weren’t there simply remove them. Step 5- If you gently squeeze the base of the rose head it should feel firm and this will give you an indication to how many petals make up the rose and how full it will look when it’s fully open. If it’s very soft when you squeeze don’t buy - it’s an old rose and you won’t get long out of it. Step 6- Every few days recut the roses in your vase and change the water if necessary. This will help the roses to drink plenty of water and continue looking their best for longer. The sap seals the end of the stem over a period of time and makes it more difficult for water to travel up the stem. Recutting the rose stem regularly makes it far easier for the rose to take water. Step 7 - place your flowers somewhere you wouldn’t mind being for a long period of time. Avoid drafts and windows in direct sunlight. I hope you find these tips useful. Feel free to ask me any questions below! #eustoma #roses #rosetips #florist #flowers #professional #toptips

  • Fibre - How it protects the heart ❤️
.
.
Recent research has shown that eating fibre rich foods can help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and promote heart health.
.
Dietary fibre is an essential part of a nutritious heart-healthy diet.
.
It is a type of carbohydrate that the body cannot digest or absorb thereby affects the way the body digests and absorbs nutrients in the digestive system.
.
There are two types of dietary fibre; - insoluble fibre: also known as roughage helps promote regularity, adds bulk and softeness to stool thus improving bowel-related health problems like constipation, haemorrhoids and faecal incontinence.
.
- Soluble fibre: provides the greatest heart -health benefits. It attaches to cholesterol particles inside the digestive system and takes them out of the body helping to reduce overall cholesterol levels and thereby the risk of heart disease.
.
Having a variety of high fibre foods will help achieve maximum health benefit.
.
Good sources include whole grains, fruits, vegetables and legumes.

  • Self build top tip - One of the main things that self builders forget to put in place, during the excitement of starting on site.... is putting the relevant insurances in place. ⠀
⠀
You will need site, public liability and employers insurance - these are the basics. But you will also need a 10 year latent defects policy (or structural warranty), this covers the works for the next person that buys your home. If this isn’t in place then the home is not mortgageable.⠀
⠀
And don’t say, well I don’t need it because it is my forever home - you never know what might happen in the future!⠀

Many high earners have non-earning spouses. If that is the case, organise your affairs tax efficiently so that their valuable tax-free allowances aren’t lost. Their personal allowance of £11,850 and capital gains tax allowance of £11,700 could be utilised by transferring assets to their name. #toptips #taxyearend #financialwellbeing
