• me LITERALLY and FIGURATIVELY standing at a crossroad. The next quote resonates so much with me at the moment:
When you are standing at a crossroads in your life, realizethat the greatest block that you can put in front of your Self is the ideathat there is a right choice - Story Waters
Anyone else feel like this before or feeling this now? Any tips? I’d love to know how you dealt with this situation? • 💚💚💚
• meet MOCHA my beautiful sweet fur baby
She’s always there for me through the good and the bad! And when I’m SAD, she knows, and comes to lick me to console me.
She is the cutest little munchkin that always puts a SMILE on my face, and for that, I’m forever grateful.
So here’s a BIG THANK YOU to our little furry friends who are always by our side, bring us so much HAPPINESS and make the world a BETTER PLACE.
Do you have a fur baby? I’d love to know! What is it? And what is it’s name? • 🐶🐶🐶

@exploreshaw - Have you seen North Sydney’s Olympic Pool before? 😍
It might just have the best views of any public pool we’ve ever seen. There’s even a dining room where you can have a fancy lunch overlooking this beauty! 🙊
Swimming laps is a whole lot better with views like this, don’t you think 🐠
A flashback to Cape Solander in colder times. I love the cliffside walks in this national park. It feels so different to the rest of Sydney. I’ll be house sitting in Kurnell this winter, so I’m looking forward to exploring the south of Sydney even more!
4 day work week then i get to see dreamboat @philiphanselmo FINALLY!!!!! I've waited so long for this moment. Will definitely fan girl out. This week cannot go fast enough 💃💃💃

When top wellness trends for 2019 were released at the start of this year, ‘self-care’ was high on the list, whether it be incorporating meditation into daily life, exercising in nature, a weekend of digital detoxing or all of the above!
We’re also seeing a spike in the number of amazing retreats being organised, giving us the chance to practice the ultimate act of self-care. If you’re a Sydneysider and you feel an exotic retreat could be out of reach because you need to fly far far away to experience it, then you might be excited to know that an amazing retreat could be in very easy reach (and at a discount too 😉)! Lean Bean’s Fitness Retreat, which involves workouts including barre, yoga and a nature hike, a nourishing menu created by Brown Paper Nutrition and massages by Health Space Clinic, is set to take place on 18th-20th October, all only 2hrs away from Sydney in lush luxury accommodation in Bowral!
If you're thinking "OMG where do I sign up for this!?" - our Events Calendar is where you can book your spot for this luxe self-care escape AND Zoii members receive $100 off if you book before the end of April! If you don't have access yet to our Events Calendar (where you can connect with over 30 other retreats happening this year!), you can just click the link in our bio to sign up. ☝️📷@brownpapernutrition via @leanbeanretreats

Ups and Downs!
Coming back to reality after such a great holiday has been really tough, especially in terms of photography. I saw so many amazing new things over in the states that made me just want to go out and take photos. Since I got home I have been finding it so hard to go back to street photography, so last night I just went out in the rain and tried to make some cool photos. If you haven't seen them yet, check out my story and let me know what you think! I think that practice is so important no matter what skill you are trying to master and it showed last night when I really struggled to take good photos after only just a week off. For tonight though enjoy another photo of the Grand Canyon as the sun is setting ☀️
Syrian breakfast from Chef Ali Snoubar who we got to meet as part of @tastefoodtours. Chef Ali manage multiple restaurants in Damascus and has definately brought the culture to Sydney through his style of cooking and restaurant deco. The fatteh (chick peas, crispy bread covered in tahini dressing topped with nuts and butter) pairs well with the falafel and their middle eastern coffee. Great experience and insight into the food and culture! If you want now info about Taste food tours, head to our website. Link in bio.

Friday Feels - Cantina OK
I’ve totally fallen in love with this tiny little garage...now Mexican bar Cantina OK (@cantina.ok). The Margaritas are a perfect way to start the friday eve in this muggy Autumn weather we’re experiencing in Sydney at the moment. This is the 2nd Friday I’ve been here in a row and it’s definitely getting busier. I’ve never been to Mexico, so I didn’t know “standing” bars were a thing there too? They’re quite common in Tokyo where there is not much space and it helps with the turnover as well. Peeps are less likely to hangaround for hours on end if they’re not sitting. It’s kinda weird how the most Japanese bar in Australia, is actually Mexican. I think it’s a fantastic idea, so no matter how busy Cantina OK gets, I don’t think the wait is going to get too crazy, unless it replicates the Baxter Inn lines I’ve seen in the past.
Hopefully this is a sign of things to come in Sydney; tiny little garages being turned into epically cool little standing bars.
