LOVE/ HATE THE GRIND
It’s been a tough week but it’s finally coming to an end 🙏
Im someone who alsways has a million things going on and that’s why I’m always stressed af. But I’m realizing I do it to myself!
As much as I hate being constantly busy I literally can’t not be busy...
Trying to find a balance between working and relaxing has honestly been really hard and I still suck at it 😂
Anyways I’m off to write an exam and then it’s time to relax (for the weekend at least lmao).
Happy Friday babes ❤️😘
I met this sugar plum at work and instantly fell in love with her! Such a big heart, so much positivity & always smiling. Oh, and did I mention those abs! 😍 Love you to pieces @morganbelongia 💕 #FlexFriday
Got this outfit for $12 through Ali Express.
Some of the stuff are a hit. This one is a miss. Anyone have a favorite online retailer that I should check out?
The material is okay. It is a bit thin. The sportsbra doesn't have padding and isn't too supportive. This outfit is good for light days. It is not sweatproof or wicking material. The only thing good is it is accurate sizing
Self care is health care and this is what a mental health day looks like in my world. The past few weeks have been a bit crazy leading me to be extremely agitated, anxious and tense. I recently received a promotion at work and while I am really excited about it, it also brought out the very extreme workaholic in me and because of that, I let a lot of personal things slide and could not commit to anything because all I could do was think about work. (I think it’s also partially due to the fact that I have not traveled nearly as much as I usually do so haven’t taken time to rest, recover and reset). So today, decided to work from home and take care of my growing to-do list and to just get shit done. And I already feel SO MUCH BETTER. Not only am I excited to go to work on Monday with a clear head but I also don’t feel that nagging anxiety from all the things going on in my personal life. I finished booking trips I’ve had on hold for months and I’ve also starting to committing to things again that make me happy. Sometimes you just have to take some time to yourself and do what you need to do for you. Feeling grateful for having an understanding boss who knows that sometimes you just need to take a “me day” and also feeling ready for the weekend! 10/10 would recommend.

🚨LONG POST🚨I finally competed in my first NPC competition. It was definitely not how I expected it to be. Even though I did pretty well first my first NPC show in the short amount of time I prepared for it, I still felt discouraged/disappointed at my placing results. It wasn't until days later that I came to the realization that I did do well and worked hard to get to that point. You really do have to be strong, mentally, to be in this kind of competition. I couldn't have succeeded without my team and all of their support. I remember when I did one of my first posing classes, I saw a girl who had the perfect bikini competitor physique, and then I saw the guy who was watching her intently and studying her every move as she posed. After she was done with her routine, he went up to her and gave her pointers on how to position herself in a better angle. I realized then that he was her coach. I was thinking to myself, “I want him to be my coach.” So sometime later, when I was ready to compete in my first NPC competition, I reached out to him. I didn't think he would want to work with me because I was such a novice, but he was welcoming. I went through a 12-week prep with him and ended up getting into the top 2 in Bikini Open. There's no way I would've gotten to this point without him and I know I will continue to build up with his help. I appreciate all of the help I've gotten from the Lifestyle Physiques team, especially Beca. She helped me summon the “sass" I have and confidence I needed before I stepped on stage. Also, a big thanks to Tiffany helped me with my posing game. I wouldn't have made it to the top without you. Sorry, long post is over🙂
