  • 📚☄️The art of asking questions🤖💙
Recently I've been questioning me the legitimacy of everything I see and heard. How much of what I see is actually true? How much of what I read is true? How much of what other people said is actually influenced by other people's thoughts? How much of my opinions are really by my own? When people say you have to believe something just because your teacher said so, just because your parents said so, just because authorities said so. Why? My thoughts about things in life are really constructed by my own thoughts? Am I getting to conclusions really because my reasoning are getting to there? Journalism or sensationalism? seriously, internet will say anything just for you to click ads, to have more views, to sell.
At sciences faculty, where I study computer science, maths exams are not about solving 2+2, are about proving that 2+2=4. These are the questions that improve my thoughts. How I improve my questions? The quality of my questions determines the quality of my thoughts? Why am I having these feelings? Why I question the origin of everything? The origin of consciousness? of an atom? of love? the origin of the origins?
~ "I would rather have questions that can't be answered than answers that can't be questioned". - quote by Richard Feynman (Or at least this is what internet said so, I didn't find a proper source for the quote)
~
What I found, is a video where he says: "I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong." ~

  • Here’s a little copper wire undergoing a redox/displacement reaction with a silver nitrate solution. The copper molecules from the wire displace the silver to form copper nitrate. The formation of copper nitrate is what causes the solution to turn blue. 😍👌🏻😃🎄

  • Have you ever seen a jellyfish this blue eaten by crabs?
-
💀 There are many kinds, or species, of jellyfish in all the oceans of the earth. The main predator of jellyfish is other jellyfish, usually of a different species.
-
🐟 But jellyfish also have a number of other natural enemies that like to eat them. These predators include tunas, sharks, swordfish and some species of salmon.
-
🐢 Sea turtles also like to eat jellyfish. In fact, each year many sea turtles become ill and even die from eating floating plastic bags and other plastic trash that they mistake for jellies. That is one of the reasons why it is important to keep trash out of the world’s oceans.

  • Couldn’t be more proud of my dear friend @duncanfusion for finishing his latest book ‘Talking to Robots’ 🤖 “What robot and AI systems are being built and imagined right now? What do they say about us, their creators? Will they usher in a fantastic new future, or destroy us? ...For even as robots and A.I. intrigue us and make us anxious about the future, our fascination with robots has always been about more than the potential of the technology–it’s also about what robots tell us about being human.” #proudfriend Click the link in my bio to get your copy 📖💥 #bookworm #read #learn #grow #creative #vision #envision #explore #mind #robot #future #science #technology #human

  • ➡️Unexpected Mathematics Behind Van Gogh's Starry Night Van
.
.
In 2004, scientists saw the vortices of a distant gas and dust cloud around a star using the Hubble Space Telescope, which reminded them of the Starry Night of Van Gogh. This encouraged some scientists from Mexico, Spain and England to work in detail on the brightness of Van Gogh's paintings. They realized that many of Van Gogh's paintings have a distinct fluid structure, which is hidden in many of his paintings, showing closeness to Kolmogorov's equation.
By digitizing images, researchers measured how brightness varied between any two pixels. From the curves measured for pixel separations, they concluded that the paintings that Van Gogh drew during his psychological disturbance were remarkably similar to his fluid turbulence.

  • Sketch done by the King of Italy on a napkin at a state dinner during his visit to Britain in 1937. Presented to the British War Museum by King George VI. "When the King of Italy saw the success of Prussian efforts to rebuild their empire after the collapse caused by the defeat in the First Great War, he put into motion an ambitious "five-year plan" to regain the glory of the Roman Empire.
However, despite grand speeches proclaiming his intention to conquer new territories and consolidate Italy's old holdings, all that was achieved during the first year was a reimaging of the institutions of the Kingdom of Italy, among them the armed forces, under the auspices of a new Italian Empire.
Eventually, the new Emperor of Italy made a move towards Abyssinia, with moderate success, but his efforts to follow up on it have been so far thwarted, especially by the determined resistance from the British men and women stationed on the tiny islands of Malta."
