it was night and i woke alone, the sweat was cool and the thermostat read 65 and yet i was wet and salty. i woke to the light though i dreamt of the wolves. they looked like dragons but spoke like silk. it was morning and i remembered, a new year claimed me and i was no longer a child and i was not sad and i was cool and dry and i longed for the jungle and i craved a breakfast of gardenia and butter and coffee and friendship and suddenly i knew. a new year claimed me, a new decade was mine, life kept rolling and the jungle and the mountain, the wolves and the women, they called me, and i ordered a coffee and a burger and steamed milk and she pulled my cards and we laid on the floor and there were wolves and dragons and i had won the war. #30#newyears

I need vou to understand that you are here for a reason. And I
know that sometimes it doesn't feel that way. I know that
sometimes life can be a difficult thing to navigate, it can break
you down and challenge you in ways you never thought it
would. But I also know that you have the potential to do
incredible things in this world. I also know that vou have the
capacity to overcome whatever is that is hurting you, or
confusing you, or making you doubt yourself. Please, I need you
to believe in that. I need you to believe, with reckless abandon,
that you are meant to be here. I need vou to trust in yourself
even if you haven't figured out what inspires you deeply, even it
you haven't discovered your purpose, even if you're moving
forward in the simplest, smallest of ways. Just keep going. Wake
up each morning, and be gentle with yourself. Do the work. Feel
whatever it is that you need to feel. Tuck beautiful memories
into your chest for safekeeping, revisit them whenever things
get too tough. Remind yourself of the art you want to create, of
the humans you have yet to meet, of the places you have yet to
see. No matter what, just continue to remind yourself that you
are going to make it, that you are going to heal, that above all
else you are going to survive.
Comment if you relate.
A 40-hour week, worked 52 weeks a year adds up to a whole lot of product. Multiply the excess by past, present, and future goods. Too much? And why is the United States unkindly placing sanctions upon other countries for declining trade? Aren't those who have adopted American standards now facing the same challenges for having done so? You know the answer. ~LaTonyaTarell.com
From studying geology to finding her way into the world of art Sravya, @sravyakothalanka found her ultimate passion. Sravya, a bubbly, chirpy girl who is strong and stands for what she believes in.
Her journey to music was a chance she took. Sravya at a very early age learnt kuchipudi (Indian classical Dance form). Since learning Kuchipudi involved her singing her own songs, she discovered in her early teen years that she could sing. Around the age of 17 when she joined her college was when she first put her voice out there and had the most unexpected breakthrough into the music world. With parents who supported her journey, She has not looked back since then.
Besides music Sravya is an artist and a writer. Her art on @wichitralu follows a specific form called psychedelic art. She is also very poetic. Her form of writing is somewhere between reality and fantasy.
We all have downtimes in our life when everything seems haywire. Where you could be doing the right thing for you but people will convince you otherwise. For Her, this was the time where people made judgy eyes towards her and saw her as an outcast because of the way she portrayed her art through expressions. But she looked way beyond this and sort to keep fighting and making her way to the top.
Sravya said hustle for her meant to not push herself too much and live life and just focus on what she could do.
Finally, her message to all us Hustlers was to be real. Don't do something just for the sake of fitting in, stand out and do what you love.
To know more about Sravya check out her pages for art @wichitralu and music at @adavimusic
Also, check out her new single working class women- portraying the struggles of Women in this day and age.

- Nilesh Samant
