  • COMPETE AGAINST YOURSELF. 
Competing against others can be awesome in short bursts but if you focus your attention out-word for too long it will rob you of all of your joy, for there is always someone better. 
If, however, you complete against yourself, you can only win. Every time you beat your previous best you have just grown more powerful- all of your energies are on improvement instead of  jealousy... and over the long run, that’s how you become great. 💯👊🏼

If you’ve been alerted by someone’s  behavior, words, actions or just have a gut feeling to reach out, here’s some steps help you start a conversation with them: 
1️⃣Approach them in private 
2️⃣Let them know you love and care about them
3️⃣State the signs that have alerted you
4️⃣ASK DIRECTLY if they’ve been having thoughts of suicide 
5️⃣If they say yes, DON’T FREAK OUT
6️⃣Keep them safe. Find a mental health professional right away or if it’s an emergency situation take them to urgent care or call 911 and stay with them until help arrives. 
7️⃣Make sure all weapons and harmful substances are out of reach and hidden. 
8️⃣If they say no, they’ll be glad you reached out and you can move forward with stress relieving-coping skills and a therapist. 
9️⃣AVOID:
Minimizing their problems, trying to fix them, freaking out. *If you’re struggling or having thoughts of suicide and don’t have a friend or trusted mentor please call the prevention line. 1-800-273-8255 It’s available 24/7❤️

So as some of you know, I was planning on competing in my first bikini competition in May! Well change of plans! I will be competing in April!! I am beyond excited for this opportunity and cannot wait to step foot on that stage!
The best part is that my mom is actually doing the show as well! It’s going to be absolutely amazing being able to compete in my first show with my best friend (Momma Blackwell) by my side ! 
Stay tuned for updates throughout my Prep journey the next four weeks💪🏼

I'm starting a new powerlifting program as of today. The program focuses on my bench press and has me benching 3 times a week. Periodizing heavy, light, and medium days.

1. Bench Press
2. Curl Superset
3. Incline Press and Tricep Press Superset
4. Cable Chest Flyes

This is not an uncommon thing. Yet, so many people freak out and quickly believe those 1 or 2 lbs gained overnight are all fat

Keep in mind again that weight gain doesn’t mean fat gain. There are so many factors that could cause an individual to gain some weight

Quality of sleep, sodium intake and everything else you see could play big factors in weight gain or loss overnight
. 
Next time you see the overnight change, make sure you keep these factors in mind before adding more stress to yourself

  • My first try at keto nachos and I'd say they're pretty darn good. My boyfriend had a giant plate of nachos the other night and I stayed strong and didn't even have one 😭 but it left me craving some of my own. 
Here we have low carb @missionfoodsus tortilla (6g net carbs per tortilla) I prefer @josephspitabread lavish bread at 4g net carbs but @walmart was out.

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
2. Cut into 8th with a pizza cutter
3. Brush with oil of your choosing and season with pink salt or seasoning of your choice
4. Bake for 10 min flipping half way through
5. Topped with sour cream, guac, jalapeno, and Tabasco

For someone else, it might be finding time to get their workout in today. You might be just starting on your fitness journey, and completed your first workout in your entire life!🙌🏻 Don’t ever think your smaller goals aren’t worthy of celebrating. The smallest goals are what bring you that much closer to achieving your larger goal, and help keep you motivated to continue on your journey to a healthier version of yourself. 
You are :strong  Brave  Smart  Fierce .  And Beautiful!
