Yes, I know, I was not active on Instagram since past 12 days (to be precise). I wanted to take a break from social media since long and it happened very randomly. I know many of you think that it's difficult to stay disconnected for so long especially when you post daily and spend more than 5-6 hours on a smartphone every day. But sometimes you have to disconnect to reconnect with the world and get a new perspective, that's what I believe.
So, about the last 12 days.
I didn't travel anywhere.
I didn't use my camera nor I clicked any pictures from my phone.
It was the last few days of my college.
I started a new job.
I spent most of the time with people I care about.
And I didn't miss Instagram, strange but true.
These days, social media and digital entertainment take up a huge chunk of our daily life and unconsciously we start comparing our lives with the world we see on digital platforms. While doing so, we often forget to value little things and little moments that we all have in our monotonous & simple life. There needs to be a balance as too much of everything is not good.

Get home from work ... put on boots and grab shovels ... go to garden to turn over beds and pick out worms ... “oooo big one!” ... come in for dinner ... end day fishing in pond and landing some decent gills ... he’s pretty proud of himself.
Making life a little easier is totally allowed and there's nothing to say that bushcraft has to be difficult.
A tool I thoroughly recommend investing in is a good set of auger bits and a T ratchet. These allow you to make neat holes very quickly for mortise and tenon joints, pegged holes, starting points for saws etc. The time saving is huge and allows more minutes or hours for cups of tea, sitting quietly and enjoying all the sights and sounds of nature, which is really why we're out there. 🐝🌲🍃🦅🌳🍂🦉🌲🍃🐺🌳🍂🐗

The signs and symbols for love are everywhere in nature. Nature gently reminds us that:
1. Love is all around us.
2. Love is within all of us.
3. Love is a wordless vibration.
4. Love heals all.
5. Love is always enough.
6. Love is.
Over the years, the exploration and acceptance of love in my life has changed me significantly - and continues too. As I choose to accept love and live in love - love shows itself in a kaleidoscope of ways. It has changed my practice, how I treat others, how I treat the body, my outlook on life, and how I approach that which is external to me.
Because of social conditioning, love can take years and perhaps even lifetimes to know and feel. The beautiful part - is that there is no rush to love, love has no cusp, an love is always and in all ways around us.
Love is timeless and it always arrives at just the right moments. After all, love is here right now - it’s relearning how to tune into the 24hr transmission.
While the mind has ideas, thoughts, and notions about love and what love is like or could be like, wordless love can only be felt. Getting still and centering ourselves in the heart is the best way to experience this.
Many beings search for love outside of themselves because they do not see or feel themselves as love. However, as one of my teachers reminds me: The eye can not see itself, but it can see it’s reflection. Just because it can not see itself doesn’t mean it’s not there.
Start seeing love in all things not you and you will see that you have been love this entire time - simply seeing itself. Notice how the mind may offer push back to this in-query. If you can perceive the mental push back - then it is not you; love that and allow it to dissolve. Allow love to flow in and love will flow out.
You are love.
Tonight’s meditation @bayclubs South Bay I will be sharing a meditation on love. I hope to see you there at 8pm. 💚🙏🏽
