Madeline Beth McCann, disappeared on a family holiday on the 3rd of may 2007 at the age of 3. Madeline is still missing, i grew up praying for madeline as we come from around the same area and were about the same age, i always had hope that she would be found. now in 2019, been missing for 12 years, i still have hope..
i was thinking about her today and i realised, if madeline ever does come home she won’t remember her parents, her siblings, her friends or even where she came from, as she was taken from such a young age.. it breaks my heart to think that 🥺💞
bring madeline home💗 #madelinemccann#missing#omgpage#explorepage#sadedit#ily#madeline#explore#netflix#documentary#sad#toddler#childhood#child#portugal#england 💙
Follow your dream/your heart. In 1996, I was 24 and I moved out of France, to follow my dreams ... I left family and friends and my country to go to the US of A.
I needed to find myself, to get rid of a non-stop codependency. For the first time in my life, I experienced what it means to leave things behind and miss people, and I felt this hole in my stomach: separation hurts.
But I left behind me “ME” and what I found was Myself. I became strong, independent, self-confident, proud, and I started to like myself! “If you are brave enough to say goodbye, life will reward you with a new hello.” 🎶 Scorpion - Follow your heart 🎶 @gulfissimo @laverneme @flipflopsuae @radrolleruae @yoga_therapy_uae
How do you translate missing someone, into an emotion? Is it sadness, love, nostalgia, or loneliness? Maybe a little bit of them all.
Sadness- you won't see them for a while now. Maybe you'll never see them again. Maybe they'll become a mere memory instead of a living, breathing being.
Love- you keep trying to bring up their name in conversation. But carefully, trying not to let anyone know. Someone mentions their name, and your heart beats louder.
Nostalgia- a lot of things remind you of them. A place, a word, a picture, or a book. Maybe an old card they gave you. Everything reminds you of them for a while.
Loneliness- you feel alone in a world full of people. Who will you talk to now? Everyone else's comany seems a little unimportant.
The lines between these emotions can often get smudged. It all becomes too complex to understand or make any sense of. After a point, you create a picture of this person in your head based on your most cherished memories with them. The real person starts to disappear from your mind. .

A body recovered from Columbus, Ohio's Scotio River on March 23, has been identified as social justice activist #AmberEvans .
She was officially identified on Sunday and family were immediately notified. She had been missing since January. According to @nbcnews "After leaving work, Amber was captured on security footage buying cold medicine and a candy bar at a local store. Amber is seen leaving the store, but had not been seen since. Later that evening, Amber’s car was found near the Scioto River in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Her purse was in the trunk. Amber’s cell phone was found the next day in the same area."
Evans had been an active member in local justice organizations. She was a justice organizer at Columbus City Hall, executive director of the Juvenile Justice Coalition, and took part in the People's Justice Project. Evans also graduated with a bachelors degree in Journalism from Ohio State University and masters degree in Library and Information Sciences from Kent State University.
The Columbus Dispatch says Tonya Fisher, Evans mother, will
plan to "have a memorial vigil at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Scotio Mile."
Amber Evans was 28 years old.

😢💔 "Evans was a longtime community organizer and she’d just been promoted to executive director of the Juvenile Justice Coalition, an advocacy organization that works with Ohio youth who are at-risk of involvement in the juvenile court system. "One of Evan’s biggest projects was House Bill 410, a state reform that put strict limitations on how law enforcement officials could deal with school-based issues like skipping school, which was signed into law by Gov. John Kasich in 2016. "While police maintained they were doing all they could to find Evans, many criticized law enforcement for dragging their feet because of Evans’ long history of speaking out against police." - Afropunk.com #amberevansmissing#amberevans#activist#juvenilejustice#missing#ohio
