  • Transformation Tuesday!!!! 10 1/2 weeks of hard work was totally worth it!

I transformed my physique from sloppy (but relative healthy), to more healthy & somewhat close to winning an IFBB Pro Card with coming 2nd to the eventual pro card winner.
⠀
I started this transformation in effort to win the @redcon1 #readinesstrials where the winner takes home 50k cash (please vote for me when the time comes, as I don’t feel I could have done any more), but regardless of the results of the readiness trials, I’m stoked with my achievements in such a short time.
  • Transformation Tuesday!!!! 10 1/2 weeks of hard work was totally worth it!

    I transformed my physique from sloppy (but relative healthy), to more healthy & somewhat close to winning an IFBB Pro Card with coming 2nd to the eventual pro card winner.

    I started this transformation in effort to win the @redcon1 #readinesstrials where the winner takes home 50k cash (please vote for me when the time comes, as I don’t feel I could have done any more), but regardless of the results of the readiness trials, I’m stoked with my achievements in such a short time.

  • 2017 Salt Lake City pro show (men’s physique pro ) that night before the show i was practicing my poses and sending videos to @_cutz_ to make sure we were on point for the next day. Everything looked good and felt good. Ended up getting 6th place out of 30 pros competing that day. Man..... my legs looked huge in that video - i was water depleted and just wanted water that night 😭

Não vou ficar lamentando e chorando essas feridas...
Sei que quando me proponho e consigo ir eu dei o melhor de mim em TODAS as vezes.
Então mais uma vez saio de cabeça erguida de uma competição, saio grato a Deus e as pessoas que me ajudaram antes, durante e continuam me ajudando agora no depois e seguirei buscando o meu espaço de cabeça erguida ...
Nunca entro para perder, ouvi de muitos que assistiram que eu merecia e deveria estar nos top5, mas não sou árbitro, sou o atleta fiz meu trabalho e cabe a eles a julgarem...
Dividi momentos com amigo aqui @vinnisoaresphysique e o palco/backstage/foodporn com o @rferreirarafael @hugoeiti e isso são coisas que dou muito valor...

  • ▪️Tras 7 competiciones el año pasado entre las dos temporadas del 2018, aquí muestro mi última puesta apunto, el segundo día de carga en Rumania (A falta de un día más cargando).

▪️Con un peso de 85kg la mañana de la competición, me quede en las sillas mirando como mi categoría bajaba del escenario sin haber podido presentar mi mejor condición hasta la fecha.

▪️Este año vuelvo a debutar en el @bigmanweekendshow pero esta vez pienso estar alli a las 7 de la mañana y hacer noche si hace falta, pero este año no me vuelve a pasar.

We all know the visible part of the abs: The Rectus Abdominus and the External Obliques. Simple ways to train them are doing crunches or sit ups. When we think of abs, these are the muscles we think of.⁣

What alot of people forget and neglect are the inner abdominals: The Transversus Abdominus and Lumbar Multifidus. These muscles lie beneath the Rectus Abdominus and the External Obliques.⁣
⁣
They are responsible for back support. Since they are rarely targetted, they are often weaker. By building a stronger inner abdominal wall, you can limit and relieve back pain, create a tighter midsection, and add explosive power to your training!🔥🏋⁣

I practice stomach vacuums once per week for these reasons. I saw results pretty quickly which made it rewarding for me to keep doing!⁣

Performing one can be a challenge for some, but definately worth it. ⁣

⁉How to perform a stomach vacuum:⁣
⁣
📍Stand upright or kneel down🛐. Place your hands on your hips, exhale all the air out of your lungs completely and hold your breath! Then expand your chest and bring your stomach in as much as possible and hold. Congrats, you've correctly done a stomach vacuum now.😎💪⁣

Do this for atleast 3 sets of 20 seconds each week and great results can be seen pretty quickly🔥

What do you do first on a chest day? Probably a flat barbell bench press. “Want a bigger chest? Bench.” What do people ask when you talk about the gym? “How much do you bench?” I’m not here to knock on bench presses but what you NEED to know with exercises selection is how your muscles are being challenged the most.

Bench presses challenge your pecs the most at the bottom of the lift when your pecs are in a lengthened position.

Dumbbell flyes, despite being a different movement will ALSO challenge your pecs the most in their lengthened (stretched out, arms by your side) position.

Cable crossovers/flyes, despite being similar in movement to a dumbbell fly, will challenge your chest the most in a contracted position (arms extended and elbows coming together). The pec deck will challenge your pecs in the same position when an appropriate weight is used and you’re trying to extend your arms at the top of each rep and try to bring your elbows together.

The bench press is a great exercises but there are hundreds of other exercises that can be performed in different angles that will work your pecs in ways that a flat barbell bench press never could!

Today's pose down after a brutal chest day with coach today.  I need a lot of work on my posing still, and my physique still has a long way to go but really happy with our progress so far.  I know as we get closer to the end of 2019 I will have my posing dialed in and my physique looking show ready for sure!  Just have to keep grinding day after day and the results will just keep coming.  Hope everyone had a great monday!! 👊🏼🙏🏼
