  • ALCOHOL...Do you drink alcohol? If so what is your favourite tipple?  I like a white wine or a lager but I don't drink too much anymore.  I actually used to have a huge problem with alcohol.  I was never an alcoholic but I lived for the days when I could have a drink.  And when I had a drink, I really went to town.  I had no off switch!  I would literally drink till I passed out sometimes and I would wake up in the morning full of regret and sorry.  Why did I do this?  Because I was so unhappy with myself!  I drank to forget.  To forget my eating disorder, to forget how it made me feel and secretly I think I hoped I wouldn't wake up in the morning.  That is how bad bulimia made me feel.  I had kids, a husband who loved me but I didn't want to be here feeling like I did.  So what changed?  I DID! I changed how I felt about me, how I looked at life, how I approached life.  And now I enjoy a drink when I feel like it, not to blot out my life or to turn to when things get bad.  Alcohol is something to be enjoyed in moderation and it is very easy to end up in a situation where it becomes a crutch.  Please seek help if you feel like you are using alcohol as a way of coping.  And I am always here to chat 💙💙💙

Drop they ass off at the nearest corner. People often times think I have a big circle of people but tbh I love being alone most of the time bc my peace of mind is more important than anything.   • I love this quote. I grew up listening to my mom's old albums on our big credenza stereo and from a young age fell in love with the big band, grand swing of Gershwin. I think his music was first to inspire the dreamer in me.

But no really...for a long time I let my food choices determine how I felt about myself. Whether it was eating raw spinach to feel “proud” or French fries and ice cream to feel like I was “living”

3 years ago I decided that mindset sucked and decided to give this portion control thing a try...I learned so much about what foods were healthy {this is something I thought I already knew} and in what portions we should eat them —> amazing results. Now I’m starting a new & similar journey to figure out the root of my eating habits and learning even more about different foods, sugar addiction and how we can have our whole families thrive this way, especially our kids! 👨‍👩‍👧
