I spent a long time searching for happiness....a long time thinking “if I just lost more weight” “if I just do this or that one thing” or “if I change to how others want me to be” I’ll be happy.... I’ll find happiness....
NOT true!! I found happiness when I stopped searching for it...I found the person I’m meant to be and want to be by creating my own happiness! 😊😍.
The truth is you’ll find that happiness you crave when you stop searching...when you realise that you have to make it yourself.
If you want to be happy, be happy, do the things that bring you joy, stop spending your entire life searching for it and go out and create it for yourself...the rest will come...

Good morning lovely Likers. No doubt you’ve found yourself at my page because you’ve started to question things in your life and are looking to make some positive changes. Sometimes the hardest bit about changing yourself or your perspective is having to explain to friends and family that you are going to be leaving some things behind, changing the way you interact with them, moving in a new direction. Many people are afraid of change and their reaction is to mock or tease you. Please do not get caught up in having to justify yourself. Those people don’t have to understand your journey, they are not on your path. When someone calls you out on your vegetarianism/spirituality/beliefs etc you don’t have to justify yourself. Yes, maybe you did used to be a hard drinking, drug taking wild partying individual and yes, maybe that was only last week, but if you want to change and live a quieter more reflective life you can start whenever you want, you don’t need permission from others. Life is about learning, changing and evolving as we learn lessons, don’t let anyone shame you for wanting positive change in your life. Did you know the same part of your brain controls whether you feel hungry or thirsty? And when you’re dehydrated, your brain can become confused. Dehydration makes us tired, which prompts the brain to tell us to eat, to raise our flagging energy levels.
Staying hydrated helps eliminate feelings of thirst, helping you to better identify whether you are actually truly hungry. Aim to drink at least 2 litres of fluid a day (about 3.5 pint glasses) – water is great, but herbal teas, smoothies and soups all count too.

We should be content and be goal driven but there seems to be a nasty gap in between the two where we struggle to have a balance of both . We forever constantly are thinking about the next upgrade , the next big thing , the next promotion , the next house , the next level of excitement . We always want more more . We live in a world where we constantly want the best and constantly looking for improvements. Now this is a good thing and a bad thing . It’s great that we are on a constant drive of developing and trying to live a better and bigger life but it can also become a negative aspect of your life if you forget to STOP. Be content . Something that I have really been learning this year . To be happy with what I have and remember that at one stage in my life this is where I wanted to be and if not this is more than what I expected maybe . So flippantly we can make a judgement about someone or something else, and from the place of judgement all focus is external. But when you truly sit back and think about it, that comment about how ‘She just gets everything handed to her on a plate’ or ‘He just knows all the right people’ are really reflections on how we view ourselves the feeling that ‘I don’t get handouts’ and ‘I don’t know the right people’. —————————————————
When you flip the judgement around and make it about you then you can start to recognise what you need to do, what inner work and healing you can do to feel good about you. —————————————————
