A very not-depressing photo for a very sad day (cue typical Lily melodramatic complaining). Found out today that the gym I go to is selling all their spin bikes when that's literally all I use when I go, other than some weight machines. I actually signed up for this gym primarily because of their bikes...😭 As per usual French customer service, the gym refuses to refund me for my remaining membership months, and refuses to keep a single spin bike around (yes, I spent 30 mins "peacefully discussing" this with the owners 😂). Honestly so devastated by this you would think tragedy had struck or something (it has) 😡
French word of the day: devastated (emotionally)--anéanti/abattu/bouleversé

#prettycitylondon stopping me in my tracks since - well 1999 - I can’t quite believe it but I first moved here 20 years ago this month - so does that make me a Londoner??- I guess it does 🤭 but whilst I do feel well and truly at home here I will forever have that ‘tourist in my own town’ feeling like I’m discovering something new every day✨ such is the beauty of this city ✨so that’s my little thought for today ✨ ooh and I captured this earlier with @angrybaker ✨✨ I literally skipped off the bus in the realisation I was meeting her - embarrassingly she caught me mid excitement 😂

•loved this @gypsysoulorganics toner that came in my @moonbox.co so much that I had to order more! I ordered a 2 ounce bottle because I honestly didn't realize there were size options. They were out of their 2 oz. bottles & me a larger bottle! Thanks for being awesome!•

Is it possible, in the final analysis, for one human being to achieve perfect understanding of another?
We can invest enormous time and energy in serious efforts to know another person, but in the end, how close can we come to that person's essence? We convince ourselves that we know the other person well, but do we really know anything important about anyone?

Breastfeeding... is I feel still a tabou subject. I can openly say that my first daughter was not breastfed because as a new mum everything about being a mum was new for me and so I decided that I had already to many challenges to tackle to add another one. Breastfeeding is hard, I know because for my second one I decided to breastfeed which I did for two months. I wanted to know how it felt to breastfeed, trust me breastfeeding is tiring and the woman that breastfeeds for a year have my full respect. When the baby is just born, you only have colostrum until the milk « arrives ». The week after you are not sure if the baby gets enough milk or not so every time he cries you put him on the boob. Which you end up doing all day ... night. I decided to stop after 2 months not because I didn’t like breastfeeding but because I needed to spend time with my other daughter and I know some people might say why didn’t you pump ... well simply because formula is also good. What really bothered me is when I asked on a mum group which formula to use, I got not so cool comment. But why? Why am i being judged if I no longer want to breastfeed? Is breastfeeding an obligation? Am I a bad mom for not doing it? So no it’s not an obligation every mom should have the choice to breastfeed or not without being judged and having to explain herself. Because at the end of the day breast milk or formula - fed is best! And we shouldn’t feel embarrassed to say that we are formula feeding our babies. To all the mamas, let’s lift each other rather than putting each other down with negative comments. We all try our best for our little one and that’s what’s important!
Doesn’t she look happy? Yes she does and she is. Happy baby means happy mum. .
And the end of an adventurous day we sip baileys on ice at our fave swing, side by side reflecting on some pretty great moments so far. We are so grateful for this time way to be together.... thanks for those of u carrying the fort at home and making this possible

Making a Big Sibling Box...
Ever heard of this!?
It’s a box of things you give your older child on the arrival of others.
It’s got things in it to keep them pre-occupied when you need to focus on the baby. It’s also a form of bribery to get them to like the baby :) and think that the baby is a fan of them.
I’ve written all about in the latest post on the website. Copy and paste: http://allthingsmomsydney.com/the-big-sibling-box/ into your browser or click on the link in the bio. If you made one for one of your kids I would love to know what you put in yours. .
Don’t ever let anyone judge you and don’t ever judge yourself based on someone else’s definition of what you should be doing, what you should look like, where you could be working, where you could be living, what you should be earning.
When it comes to who you are and how you choose to live your life - listen to your heart. Listen to your intuition. Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s. Live your life and follow your dreams. Make decisions that fit your needs and that you are comfortable living with.
You have one life. Live it for you. Live it your way. Make your dreams come true. Your friends and family may wonder about you at first... just let them see you shine.
I’m proud of the woman I am today because I went through one hell of a time becoming her. And I’m still working on me... 🦋🐛🦋🐛🦋 #findthegoddessinyou#mayanmoongoddessyogaretreat#listentoyourintuition
Happy Thursday Eve!
I often get asked how I stay motivated to workout. Honestly, the motivation comes and goes. There are times that I jump out of bed ready to workout and times I just have ZERO desire
It’s the commitment I made to myself that keeps me going. I don’t want to lose the progress made and I know how crappy I feel when I don’t stick to the program
At the end of the day if you can say you gave your best, if I gave my best...I call that good. ❤️
My children are my rainbow on a rainy day, the sunshine that keeps the clouds at bay, my hope when everything else goes wrong, the strength to always keep holding on, my reason for being, for waking each day, I love them more than words can say. ❤️ #july22#littlestoriesofmylife#momentsofmine

me in my second office, aka @madeatcraft, about to teach a class about my fav thing- beautiful lettering.☺️ I've taught my calligraphy class over 25x now over the past 3 years and I look forward to it every time. I love it y'all! I love meeting new people, sharing my love for lettering, seeing their faces as they use the pen for the first time and it clicks. And then hearing at the end of the class that they can't wait to keep practicing and that they had FUN.🎉 If you've been wanting to take one of my classes, I wish you would! I'll be at Craft this Sunday and I also have two classes in April. More details on my website.
I had amazing session out in the almond fields this winter.
This group of kiddos I have known for many many years. Love them to pieces.
