  • ✨STAND UP FOR YOURSELF✨

Following up on yesterday’s post...I had a similar encounter again at the gym this morning.
While minding my own business I was approached from behind by a very large gentlemen who weighed about 3 times my weight.
—
I always respect the people around me and make sure to go at more quiet times so I can take pictures/ record to share my workout. I also go to an area where no one else is around. I want to respect people around me and not have anyone in the videos without them knowing. —
The short part of the story is that I was basically told to put my phone away and stop what I was doing. The guy that approached me abrupt, rude, and in my opinion tried to intimate me. I went directly to someone working at the gym and told them I would comply with any rules if I was breaking one. I didn’t appreciate being verbally attacked by a stranger who thought he could use his size and gender to “over power me”. I spoke with someone working and they apologized to me and told me I wasn’t doing anything wrong.

Let’s start a hashtag for gyms to make this unacceptable and make everyone feel welcomed and not walked on.

Whew 😪 ever get tired before even starting your workout? Well for me, today was one of those days. I’ve always tried to drink lots of water about 30 mins before my workout. I find that it wakes me up naturally. 💦💦BUT OF COURSE.... pre workout always helps with that extra push to keep things going🥊
CARDIO
▫️40 minute bike (300 cals)
▫️10 minute stairs (50 cals)
CORE
▫️10x5 V-sits
▫️ 10x5 single leg V-sits
▫️ 30 sec plank (x3)
▫️10x5 weighted oblique twists ▫️10x5 plank side rockers
