These videos show my full Calf workout from this week.
No Calf machines used. All variations showing that you can train calf’s with minimal equipment.
Exercise 1; Standing Smith Machine Calf Raise. 3 sets of a 21s Matrix on these. 7 reps in the lengthened range, 7 reps in the shortened range, 7 reps full range = 1 set.
Exercise 2; Seated Smith Machine Calf Raise. Sliding a bench up to the bar and using sparring pads to cushion the weight on my thighs. 3x12 slow and controlled with a 1 sec hold on the contraction.
Exercise 3; TRX Calf Raise. Grasp the handles of the TRX across your chest and keep your body straight. The more extreme the angle to harder the exercise. Using the @beargrips BFR bands on these. Explosive reps. 15/10/10/10, 10secs rest between each.
No excuse for not training calf’s now. Try these if your gym is limited or you want to try something new.

Using big muscle groups like your back, strengthening and developing muscle can really help with your goals.
Using big compound exercises are very important whether your goal is muscle or fat loss 👊🏻
