Este find e semana terminamos nuestra gira sudamericana , personalmente muy triste por que no pude conseguir los resultados que esperaba y más en el ultimo de los torneos en casa ... Siento que el camino es el correcto ; espero y tengo fe que dara frutos !

  • My teammate and one of my mentors @mariah_hjudo competed in Chile this past weekend at the Continental Open. In the semi finals she took a knee to her eye. Doctors didn’t want her to proceed, Mariah wanted them to cut her so she would be able to see. That didn’t happen, so she fought and won her bronze medal match with her eye swollen shut. Monster. #levelstothisshit #usajudo #judo #judoka #universaljudo #hrbekjudo

No, more than that. More. Keep going. A bit more. 
Look, basically, I need to be 20 years younger, 30lbs lighter and not a broken, wheezy old bastard.
But hey, tonight I got to sweat a bit more, I improved my defense ever-so slightly (even small amounts count) and I went to my happy place (fighting). I still suck at it, but I’m learning and having fun.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to choke down my lungs as they’re trying to climb out and find a new host.

  • No dia do assalto,gente se vocês nao tiverem alguma sabedoria(DEFESA)não reajam. Eu reagi por que sei o que posso fazer,sou faixa marrom de JUDÔ e sei como me sair de muitas SITUAÇÕES. Mas graças a Deus está tudo bem comigo e com ela. Se vocês perceberem que eles não estão armados, corram. A calma faz a gente ter noção do que fazer,eu não me desesperei,claro adrenalina vai a mil. Mas tem que ter o controle,ele não nos roubou, Deus tbem nos ajudou, dando esse livramento. Fica de LIÇÃO,  MULHERES CUIDADO AO ANDAR SÓ NA RUA, E OUTRA PRATIQUEM ALGUMA COISA,UM ESPORTE PARA VC AO MENOS TER UMA NOÇÃO DO QUE FAZER.

Rest days are critical to perform at your optimal athletic potential. Still, implementing rest days are one of the biggest things I see athletes struggle with.
.
The constant desire to improve, drill, and train is always welcome UNTIL it starts to inhibit your ability to recovery.
.
Over my years of being an athlete, I can say that the single most important thing that will allow you to be ok with taking regular rest days is working on your mindset AROUND recovery.
.
So many athletes associate rest days with “being weak” “slacking off” “falling behind”, when in fact the opposite is actually what is true.
.
I want to invite you to prime your mind by putting yourself in a positive mental state around rest days; when you start to associate a positive emotion to rest days it will be easier for you to implement them without feeling guilty.
.
Here are three affirmations that I used to help switch my thinking around rest👇🏼:
.
⚡️Rest and Recovery is an essential part of my self-care as an athlete.
⚡️Rest enables my body to fully heal and repair so I can become stronger and sharper on the mats
⚡️Proper recovery is important to prevent injuries, sickness, and mental overwhelm.
