Thank you @ruxi.me for the suggestion
・・・ #ruxi .me - We watched this documentary last night. Not everything in this video is perfect but it is definitely worth watching with an open mind. Take everything with a pinch of salt and do your own research.
It can be pretty sickening or little disgusting at times and there was no faking those parts, like when the HR REP cancelled the interviewand said is because the hospital makes money off of sick peoples surgeries or when they were talking undercover about the law regarding confidentiality in the food industry. We are lucky to live in the Swiss bubble. And serioulsy? Seriously??? 5 IRONMANS IN 5 DAYS as vegan?! I love it. Enjoy the documentary. Thank you @carmen.photo for the recommendation
REPLACE THIS WITH THAT☕
Losing weight can seem like a daunting task. Not being able to have your favorite food anymore is just 1 of the reasons many fall off.
But can you still have your favorite food and still lose weight? I say YES!! It's just about finding the healthiest alternatives to your favorite stuff.
I LOVE coffee! Creamy, caramely coffee sometimes multiple times per day. If I was to stop at a coffee shop or even add in a flavored creamer at home I would be consuming an extremely high amount of sugar, calories and fat and ultimately driving myself further from my goals.
Enter protein coffee🤤 this is my second iced coffee today and with each one I'm CLOSER to meeting my daily goals on my diet plan. With just a scoop of @1stphorm level-1 caramel latte protein + 8oz of coffee I have a delicious, creamy iced coffee with only 3 grams of fat, 1 gram of sugar and a whopping 23g of protein!
I challenge you to replace 2 of your favorite foods this week with a healthier alternative. It can be as simple as using egg whites instead of the whole egg or wheat bread instead of white or protein coffee instead of coffee shop beverages.
If you have a favorite food that you know probably isn't the best healthy choice for you and you want help replacing it with a healthier one but aren't sure of a better choice, message me! I'm happy to help you find something equally as satisfying but that aids in your weightloss journey rather than hindering it.

I love the versatility of chickpeas - from hummus, to salads & even deserts such as chickpea cookies, they offer a neutral flavour & there are so many ways to enjoy them.
A few years back, I sadly had to remove chickpeas & other legumes from my diet. They were a big source of inflammation for me & I often would experience severe stomach pain, swelling & arthritic-like pain after consuming them. .
Many people with autoimmune conditions or underlying gut issues have similar experiences, largely in part to specific enzymes in legumes that can bind to carbohydrates & certain minerals + impair digestion.
While these compounds play an important role in seed growth, they can also make it difficult for humans to digest, cause problems with the gut & further aggravate autoimmune conditions. .
The good news is there ways you can help to neutralize problematic compounds & enjoy these foods. I have personally found that working on restoring gut health & using traditional preparation methods has allowed me to incorporate these foods periodically into my diet again.
. 🔹 Soaking beans/legumes over night can help to eliminate phytic acid & greatly increase nutrient absorption - this means you’ll absorb more nutrition from your legumes & they’ll be much easier to digest. Bonus, soaking dramatically speeds up cooking time!
. 🔹Use a pressure cooker or instant pot to further break down anti-nutrients. . 🔹 I opt for dried over canned legumes. Although they take longer to prepare, they’re more easily digested & you don’t have to worry about things like BPA (an endocrine disrupting chemical commonly found in the lining of canned goods. )
Body Shop lotion Swap! Does anyone else have every smell offered? 🙋🏽♀️Me too. I never finished one whole bottle. Not anymore!
Not only is it non toxic, I never waste any because I make a travel size of whatever blend I might be feeling.
It lasts around two weeks. At that time I decide either to change it up or keep it the same. Too easy! Plus I save so much 💵

#transformationtuesday If you told me in January 2018 that I would weigh half my weight in a year's time, I'd have laughed at you, let alone if you told me I'd be a finalist in a national competition, in a room with some of the most inspirational people in existence.
I never thought I could lose weight or have a healthy relationship with food, in fact I thought is was probably my destiny to be overweight and cycle between crash diets and putting on more weight. I'm on cloud 9 after this weekend and not sure when/if I'm coming back down but I just cannot believe I'm not that 21 stone girl let alone that I'm a 10st 8lb (ish) 18 year old who fits on trains seats, buys clothes wherever she likes and genuinely is comofrtable in her own body.
I've so much to thank @slimmingworld for, for the most amazing day Sunday and rhe opportunity to meet the most AMAZING young slimmers but also for the healthy habits, my love of food, my passion for cooking, my confidence to be myself and pursue my goals head on. The photo on the left is a rare breed, I hid from cameras but now, I'm there taking toilet selfies at the sparkly castle.

Day 17: food is getting boring.
I had to fast for a blood test this morning and I was starving when I was done. I wanted to just pop in somewhere to grab breakfast, but decided it wasn’t worth it cause I could make something more delicious that was definitely compliant rather than risking being unsure

Physical activity is one of the things we can control when it comes to our health. By getting at least 150 minutes of activity a week, which is equivalent to 30 minutes of activity 5 days a week, we can drastically reduce several health risk. A few of the many benefits of regular physical activity include: reduced blood pressure, weight loss, improved insulin sensitivity, and improved core strength, stability and mobility.

The old rule of thumb is to drink 8 glasses of water per day. But did you know now you can also get your water intake from foods, too?
Here are 5 that are at least 90% water by weight that will help in getting that daily water intake.
1. Cucumber. It's water content is 96.7%. Chop it up and put it in your salad or slice it and eat it with some hummus.
2. Celery. 95.4% water content. And this one gives you the good one-two punch of water and fiber!
3. Green peppers. This one surprised me, but it contains 93.9% water. The other colors have high water content, too, but the green leads the pack (by a slight margin.)
4. Watermelon has 91% water content. And it's full of lycopene, a cancer fighting antioxidant.
5. Cantaloupe. This one give you plenty of nutritional value with its 90.2% water content.
There are others like tomatoes, spinach, strawberries, and carrots, too. So there you go. Take your pick to help stay hydrated without having to just drink water.

☀️Hack!☀️ The soap in 1 hand pump actually gets you 3 hand pumps. But that's not the only sweet thing about Thieves handsoap.
Washing my hands so much dried them completely out (all you mama's changing diapers or potty-training amd washing your hands 50 times a day understand the struggle). My hands would dry out from
the chemical additives in the store bought soap. (Watch Stink! On Netflix if you haven't yet!) And I can wash Malachi's hands with it too and know that it's safe and won't dry out his little hands!
Thieves handsoap will soothe and sanitize, because you shouldn't
have to compromise comfort for cleanliness.
Remember how I said I was dreaming a new dream after princess weekend last year? ... well this wasn’t it 😂😂
But still VERY excited to be knocking this one off the bucket list with the bestie!!
