The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential... these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence 🙌🏼
I never realised just how much training actually benefitted me both physically and mentally. Not being able to train got me feeling realllll low and got me thinking that sometimes maybe all we really need is a little setback to remind us of the reasons we started in the first place. #backtoit
The #books I am reading in #April are what I call Super novels. What I mean by this is if the book is over 300 Pages my mind tends to check out. I can read 100 to 150 Pages a day and I can finish a book a day if I truly put my mind to it. However, these books are in there for 4 to 500 pages in my mind is simply not used to reading that many pages in a setting or in general. Nevertheless, these three books I have been wanting to read for a very long time. And I'm determined to read all of them in April.
The first book is about particle physics, time travel, and everything else attached in that area. Basically I fucking LOVE physics and science. The universe is just orgasmic. Have you ever went on a three-hour hike and discovered a Hidden Lake in a place you had no idea in a clearing that was so beautiful you teared up a little bit? So you and your people decide to set up camp, that night you look up in the stars and you can literally see the Milky Way galaxy from Earth, so you bring out a telescope and you can literally see other galaxies? I've literally never felt so big and so small in my life. When I tell you I cried it was the most beautiful experience I've ever had in my entire existence on planet Earth.
The second is the history of the world, it's legitimate 500 pages, but I love world history and if I can become more educated on the topic I absolutely will do so.
People may look at my life and think... Christ what's this guy accomplished in life... Hasn't got his own home, hasn't got a car, not in a 100k salary a year... So what has he done with his life.. Well I dedicate my life to become a better version of myself. I may not have the material possesions but I've trained my body mind and soul. The pic on the left was the selfish party boy going out 7 nights a week, doing drugs, partying hard and not giving a fuck basically.. Live. For today not tomorrow... Then one day I woke up miserable and depressed and I thought today is the day I'm going to.hnage all that... Today is the day I change myself from the outside, to the core. Since I started changing direction in life and found new goals and a new focus and determination....so I ask myself like many others do... What have I done? What have I achieved... The answer... Peace of mind.. And I'd rather have that over any fancy sports car
Its never too late to change and do what's right for you.
As a team, we can accomplish much more. Whether its being pushed to work harder, feedback on my classes, or challenging me to learn more, my team is always helping me accomplish more.
I have team mates who are always giving me some sort of feedback. Whether its during classes, or when I'm training clients and they see something, they let me know.
The other great thing? As I was in NZ for two weeks, I needed someone to cover my shifts and work with my clients. @colerayner covered some of shifts and classes, and @wholefityyc worked with one of my clients and covered a couple classes for me.
I'm so thankful for having an absolutely AMAZING team at this gym. @2110fitness is my home.
I've always been pretty consistent going to the gym, but I wanted to try upping my intensity. So I decided to give myself a personal challenge: 90 gym sessions in 90 days. This photo was from day 1 and I'm currently on day 7 and I can tell it's gonna pay off! So here's to an update in 83 more days!
