“Believers who are poor have something to boast about, for God has honored them. And those who are rich should boast that God has humbled them. They will fade away like a little flower in the field. The hot sun rises and the grass withers; the little flower droops and falls, and its beauty fades away. In the same way, the rich will fade away with all of their achievements.“ (James 1:9-11) ⠀

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:6-7
You only need to look at yourself in the mirror to recognize the beauty of Gods amazing greatness. You are the Holy Spirit's favorite creation. Smile today! Jesus loves you unconditionally! Happy day.
Ephesians 1:18-19 NKJV
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power

God is so gracious to us. He knows we have spiritual amnesia. He knows that we are forgetful. So he gives us memorials. He commands us to do certain things that will serve as reminders. Here are six practical ways, among others, to combat spiritual amnesia.
1. Think. What are some events that you can look back on as a pile of stones marking a defining moment for you — a moment when God showed his power in your life, when he was guiding you in a very clear way, when he answered a prayer, fulfilled a promise? “I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds” (Psalm 77:12).
2. Thank. Engage your heart in gratitude for what he has done. “I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds” (Psalm 9:1).
3. Tell. Once we’ve spent time remembering and thanking the Lord for the great things he has done for us, the joy of those memories should overflow in our conversations with those around us. In Joshua 4, we find this instruction specifically regarding children: “When your children ask their fathers in times to come, ‘What do these stones mean?’ then you shall let your children know, ‘Israel passed over this Jordan on dry ground’” (Joshua 4:21–22).
4. Traditions. As you think about holiday and birthday traditions, consider how you can incorporate ways of telling the stories of God’s faithfulness. A good resource for exploring this theme is Treasuring God in Our Traditions by Noël Piper.
5. Transcribe. Keep a journal. Write out prayer requests, and then record the ways in which God answers those prayers. When you’re feeling discouraged, look back on those records of God’s faithfulness.
6. Taste and See. The ordinances of the Lord’s Supper and baptism are profound ways of remembering and proclaiming what Christ has done. God is gracious to give us vivid reminders that incorporate our various senses.
Let us not forget. May we be people who fight spiritual amnesia with God-given means of remembrance.

The Lord’s standard is raised against the enemy, a (threefold) cord that will not be broken.
The power of 3 in 1: One witness is not enough to convict anyone accused of any crime or offense they may have committed. A matter must be established by the testimony of two or (three) witnesses. (Deuteronomy 19:15)
Jesus says, “But if I do judge, my decisions are true, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me. In your own Law it is written that the testimony of two witnesses is true.” (John 8:16-17)
Ecclesiastes 4:12 “If a man prevails against one who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
John 14:10 “Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.”
John 14:16-17 “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever-- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.“
They say, you and what army? 🤷♂️ Jesus says, “On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.”
A three strand cord is not easily broken. 💜
✨Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase✨
There’s something very freeing and exhilarating about having faith...have you ever experienced fear and faith at the same time? I’d expect the answer to be no, because there is no way for fear and faith to coexist.
No matter what stairs you are climbing right now~be them personally , professionally , emotionally, spiritually, financially~just let go and let God. Take that first step even if you don’t know the end results or the how or the when or the why . The act of moving forward builds your confidence and your faith, one step at a time.Keep your eyes straight ahead , because comparison is the thief of joy. We are each on our own journey and at different points in that journey. Don’t allow anyone to steal your dreams! You are worthy. You are capable. You are BEAUTIFUL! 🧡 #faith#freedomfriday#keeponclimbing#nevergiveup#pursueyourpassion#vision#mindset#inspiration#motivation#tenacity#grace#grit#dreambigwithgod
“I got out of the army in 2006. I was a first ranger battalion in Savannah, GA, and really went through the most spiritually dry time of my life. Came back from serving and really struggled with PTSD and dealt with some grief from decisions I had made. At my lowest I was working 3 or 4 jobs and trying to get back into school and finish my degree at AR Monticello. One day I was working the lunch lift at Western Sizzling' and my BCM director, Jeff Noble, walks in. I hadn't had a conversation with him in a while. I was disconnected from church and so I didn't really have a community. Jeff walks up to me and just says, 'I love you. I'm here for you anytime that you need me.' A few weeks later, when I was in a tough situation- I needed to make a decision to go see a counselor, pastor, therapist, etc. I was allowed to contact Jeff and he agreed to meet with me. We ended up forming a discipling relationship. That relationship restored to me God’s call in my life. God had called me to ministry at a younger age, but I had walked away from that. It gave me opportunity to serve. I got connected to a local church in Monticello and got to serve as the BCM assistant director. Here we are years later and I’m the BCM director and what Jeff was for me I get to be to others. I’ve seen the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, so I feel like it allows me to connect with pretty much any of our students.”

“First of all, I had to receive God’s forgiveness for my years of wandering and for the decisions I had made that grieved His heart. Second, I had to forgive myself, too. Then, I had to forgive all those people who had rejected and abused me through the years. It wasn't always easy, but it was worth it. Forgiveness has released me from them, positioned me to find true healing, and enabled me to fully walk in my true identity. In Christ, I am accepted and loved—and no one can take that away from me.” @tamarburch ⠀

Confession time! My life is not perfect! I struggle with balance, and too much concern about image and performance, while feeling responsible for my family’s happiness and security. Anyone else? I am a 3w2 and 3’s are achievers, but we are also performers. I am fighting a battle to find balance in all the things. Up until about three years ago I struggled with fear and a little side of worry, and it was definitely keeping me from my best. As I realized that my fears were a sign of not trusting God and His love and faithfulness, I started to become more peaceful and had more joy in my life. It all started with my thought patterns, and recognizing when my thoughts were not focused on truth. If I trust in a loving God, I can trust that no matter what my circumstances look like, He is in control and He will strengthen me to endure. This isn’t just talk, this is my testimony of transformation. My life is still far from perfect, and right now I am facing challenges, which will be the case for the rest of my life, BUT, I am at peace in this moment, knowing that God is sovereign and I am in His care. Waiting for perfect is never a healthy mindset, and never brings peace. Now, I experience a deep and abiding, sustainable peace and joy, because I am fully trusting in a God who loves me and cares about me, and it does not depend on life being “perfect”. I am still working on balance, body image, appearance, how I choose to face difficulties and stress, where I find my identity and what might trigger fear. But I am awake and more aware than ever before, and I’m in the fight. Fighting for peace, healthy self-image and relationships, a balance between work (performance) and rest, AND a passion to encourage and empower others to find the peace that I have found. His name is Jesus and He is the ultimate overcomer. He is my source of love, joy and peace. #fridayintroductions#fridayinspiration#balance#imperfect#encouragement#fear#trust#womenempoweringwomen#testimony#aboutme#transparency#truth#bereal#beyourself#bosslady#mindset#doodlesofinstagram#comfortdog#blackandwhite#trustingod#yousay#grace#forgiven#fridayintroduction#fridayfeels#believe#preach

Mambas..... never run outta style.
People will judge you.
People will misunderstand you.
People will gossip about you.
People will assume they know you.
And guess what?!?
Whether you let it upset you or you send them love and let it go, it will happen regardless.
Those people don’t run your soul.
Those people don’t pay your bills.
Those people aren’t your people.
When you truly find yourself and discover the depths of the love you carry for yourself, and start to see love in literally everyone and everything, you no longer are bothered by the people not in alignment with you.
I just send those people love and pray they learn to release judgment in their lives. Yes, in their entire lives...After all, people’s judgment of others isn’t really about the other person at all. Remember that.
Sending all of you so much love & light today! ✨💞🙌🏻 #love#light#faith#jesus#blessed#grace#positivevibes#positivequotes#friday#mood#liveyourbestlife#livethelittlethings#liveyourlife#abmlifeiscolorful#abmhappylife#acolorstory#flashesofdelight#thatsdarling#mom#boymom
God is so good and reveals himself so much more supernaturally when we fully trust in him, people in the biblical stories such as Job, trusted God as everything was crumbling around them and even though there was no hope to be seen, they still trusted that God had them💯💯 “the fool has already made it up in his heart that there is no God” Don’t be like the ones led astray! Stay on the path with faith and prayer and a Love for the one who came to save. Whoever reads this God loves you immensely and will bless you this very year to walk from minimum to maximum💯🙏🏻🗣 Let go and give God!!! Your eternal life is waiting!!! When the Lord returns he will be like a thief in the night, no man shall know the hour, but the believers will be spared. The devil is a liar and wants your souls. It is not too late, run and save everyone that you can brothers and sisters ❤️ If you are reading this and are tired of doing it your way and being let down, and want to give God a chance, He is waiting for you. Pray the salvation prayer and you too will be Blessed on earth and granted access to eternal Life after death. Praise Jesus!!!!
