I need something calming right now. We were painting our living room wall today and my husband got somewhat frustrated during the process (too many wires and other obstacles hindering the process) 😁 Gladly he has found his inner zen again 😉

The desert isn't just in bloom with wildflowers. The Joshua and yucca trees are too.

Life in the Desert
West Texas, USA
So much to share, but will leave it for the airport: finally settled on our ranch here just north of Big Bend, seeing max wildlife (jackrabbits, scorpions, desert cardinals), canyon trekking, and fording an offshoot of the Rio Grande.
Succulents have really been blooming.
Happy Saturday Night, ya'll ✌

| Night walks in Scarborough take 3 | Typically, when you come across something like a decoupage of old drawings and plastered pictures on a cobblestone alley at midnight, you'd get that Steve King vibe and know for a fact that Pennywise is around the corner waiting to knife you. But instead of Jack the Ripper, I heard the ocean, carnival music coming from crusty English boardwalk games, and real actual genuin non-pasterized yellow suit fisherman getting ready for the morning catch. Was it surreal? Was it charming? Am I just being a typical tourist and placing my pre-existing bias on a marginalized and forgotten people ... am I part of the problem? All I know is that anyone who wasn't there probably just finds these pics bat shit scary, and that's a damn shame ~
