  • Hippo Birthday, Euforio! 😍🎁🎉
.

Next session SUNDAY in MULLUMBIMBY!
-
I am fascinated by the connection between Australia and India. Once these two landmasses were close together, back in Gondwana Land. Close enough that the geology of Western Australia, where I grew up, is very similar to that of South India, where I went several times as a teenager and had my first mystical experiences.
-
The didgeridoo, better known by the Yolngu People as the Yidaki, seems to me to be like the long lost instrument of India. It shares all the same principals as the Indian mystical system and the Indian musical system combined together. What appears to be a simple hollow pipe is actually a multi-levelled spiritual tool. Combining Breath, Musicality and Primordial Resonance into a singular whole.
-
Where the original Australians have gone with this instrument is stepped in thousands, tens of thousands of years of tradition. Respect to the original people of this land, none know this instrument like they do.
-
My Si-angle is that I have applied the principals of Indian mysticism to playing the didgeridoo. I have a system that I now call Didgeridoo Pranayama that I have used for the last 25 years to power this instrument. It’s a system for creating good clear energy inside ourselves. And it works without a didgeridoo as a stand alone breathing practice. It is my life’s work and only in the last 12 months have I begun to share.

Next Didgeridoo Pranayama session:
MULLUMBIMBY March 24th at St Martin’s Hall 38 Stuart Street.
TIX $21.50 online / $25 on the door (Cash)

  • Say #Proteacea, and most people think of iconic Protea of S. Africa and Banksia of Australia. Rounding out that classic #Gondwanaland distribution are members of the family from South America, such as Embothrium coccineum (first pic) & Lomatia hirsuta (second pic), both from #Chile.

  • Gondwanaland Leipzig

O atmosferă plăcută ce te relaxează.
