One of my favourite things about photography is the true power a photograph has to transport you back to a time and place. I took this photo a couple of years back, and can still remember the quiet stillness of this evening. The water was glassy, reflecting back the warm ambient glow of the town of Banff. The stars twinkled overhead as the silence surrounded us. What are some of your favourite things about photography? #explorecanada#travelalberta#canada#imagesofcanada
Last month we got together with some of the girls and spent the weekend hiking along the Feb Rivers Way - a 50 mile trail from Cambridge to King’s Lynn.
We didn’t have time to do the full thing so we hiked 18 miles to Ely - a gorgeous little cathedral city- and then to the village of Littleport the next day. The walk runs pretty much parallel to the train line to London so you can hop on and off easily, great for shorter walks and runs.
We’ve written about it on the @gnrailuk website, check it on the link in bio 👆🏼ever done it yourself? #lineresidents Ad
The sun sets one last time with my current job. Over the past 10 years, I’ve gotten too comfortable with a stable income and job benefits. But in the end, is being too comfortable where I want to be? So to celebrate getting out of this comfort zone, I’ll be heading out into the wilderness this weekend for 4.5 months, give or take. It’ll be a time to challenge myself without the comforts I’ve grown accustomed to. #PCT2019
