I’m all about introspective walks. The ones where you take the time to clear out your mind. Free it of any thoughts that might be weighing you down. A perfect time for self reflection. I went for one this morning on the Brooklyn Bridge and found myself caught up in an abundance of emotions. I also had to make sure I squeezed in a walk and burned off this massive double patty burger from @pipinsbayridge 🍔 🍔 🤤
It doesn’t usually come like this so make sure you ask for that 2nd slab of beef. But man, is it worth it. Order it medium rare and go to town 💯

HARISSA HALLOUMI 😍. Monday munching: toasted crumpet topped with avocado, scrambled eggs and harissa halloumi 👌. @belazu_co kindly sent me some goodies including a jar of rose harissa paste [gifted], which I thought would be delicious brushed on halloumi, and I was right 😋. All I did was slice up a block of halloumi, brush all over with 1 tsp harissa paste and pan fry in a griddle pan for a couple of minutes on each side. Yum! Hands up who wants to try harissa halloumi? 🙋 #whatiateforbreakfast

Una variante golosa e d’effetto da portare in tavola a colazione o merenda! 😊 .
40 gr di Farina Integrale (o Farro)
10 gr di Farina di Carruba
5 gr di Cacao Amaro
100 gr di Albume
50 gr di Quark Magro o Yogurt Greco al naturale
2 gr di Miele o altro dolcificante a scelta🍯
(Le dosi sono per una persona ma è possibile variarle proporzionalmente in base alle esigenze personali!)
La quantità di dolcificante è variabile a seconda del vostro gusto..
In una ciotola mescolare l’albume e il quark (o Yogurt Greco al naturale) fino a creare un composto fluido e liscio.
Aggiungere il dolcificante (miele o altro), le farine setacciate e il cacao amaro.
Amalgamare il tutto con una frusta: l’impasto deve risultare morbido e denso.
Preriscaldare un padellino antiaderente e versare un paio di cucchiai di pastella. Cuocete per un paio di minuti per lato o comunque fino a quando si saranno dorati.
Continuare fino a finire l’impasto impilando i pancake nella classica torretta! 😊
