  • 🥑🍳🍊 one thing i make the effort to do is to have breakfast or some food to fuel myself within 2 hours of waking up! sometimes it’s right after getting ready as i leave the house. other times, have a small snack before working out and then come home to breakfast 👅
this morning, it’s 2 slices of wheat bread with mashed avocado ✌🏼 the top one has smoked salmon, radish sprouts, red pep flakes and sesame seeds. the bottom one has a fried @vitalfarms pasture-raised egg, @traderjoeslist everything but the bagel seasoning (you NEED to try this) & red pepper flakes 🔥 yes, i basically add red pep flakes on all my savory foods 🙋🏻‍♀️
on the side, i had sliced cara cara oranges! these oranges are in season dec-apr here in california, so i’ve buying them often 🙌🏼 in-season foods mean better quality & lower prices! the flesh to this cara cara is a bright red/orange - the flavor is sweeter than your typical orange with a hint of fruity (raspberry/cranberry) zing. i enjoy pairing my savory meals with something sweet so this was ideal pairing this morning 👌🏼

  • When people find out my hobbies (cooking, reading, hiking) they always say those are all things they ~wish they had time for.~ well, truth is, you only have time for what you make time for. The hours spent scrolling on your phone and mindlessly watching Netflix ADD UP, and when I was highly involved in these things I didn’t have much free time either! But it’s so important to find hobbies that really bring you joy, as grandma like as they seem to others. I’ll probably be pretty absent the next two days because I’m going on a hiking/backpacking trip but that’s the price you pay 🙌🏼

Вот моя слёзная история, из-за которой не нахожу себе места. Вчера получил КОЛ. И нет, не в школе и не в универе. А от девушки, которая именно так оценила мою книгу #dolcevita_cookbook. Имеет право, не спорю и не смею ей ничего доказывать. Да и чего можно возразить на смертоносное «рецепты листала долго, но ни один не захотелось приготовить». Хочу сказать ей спасибо, потому что в сравнении с такими словами каждый добрый отзыв становится на вес золота! И не потому что их мало, а потому что от них в душе расцветают цветы!

Take a Baby Step Forward 💪
Ive had an idea in my mind for some years now. But I never want to share it because I guess I'm afraid it won't happen. 😣 But I'll share it here, since the point of this Page is for me to Document my evolution into the world of plant based eating and veganism (if you followed me from the first photo, you have seen my growth - thank you for following!)
I have been wanting to open a business. 😐 A bakery. A Vegan Bakery. I'd love to be able to sell different goods there, including Wedding Cakes or event cakes. 😍 🍰 
I'd especially love for it to evolve into a cafe of sorts, where I could also offer teas, coffee, and small bfast or lunch bowls (all Plant Based!). 🌷
I'm always dreaming of it. I eventually want 3 of these businesses. ☁️☁️ ☁️
However, which is a fancy way of saying BUT, I sabotoge myself when I say It's Impossible, You'll Never Raise the Capitol, yada yada negative thoughts. 😣
So today, Tuesday, my tip for myself is to document this down (always write down your goals, right?), And take a baby step towards it. I'm letting it into the Universe. I'm gonna close my eyes to the fear. And I'll start with writing out my business plan. 
Thank you to all my New Followers! 😊 I appreciate the support. The vegan/plant based community is full of BEAUTIFUL people who wish for good things on our planet and good health for our bodies. I've really enjoyed this journey I started ALMOST 2 YEARS AGO this July (what the heck!). 🤔 Wow. Time flies, regardless if you stand still or move forward. 
Keep following me and I'll keep making progress! 😁✌️🌱

• Drink half your body weight in ounces of water every day.
• Chew your food.
• Eat more “live” foods. An apple turns brown when you bite into it because it is a live food containing enzymes.
• Include fermented foods, such as kefir, kombucha, kimchee, napa cabbage, and sauerkraut.
• Control your stress with exercise, deep breathing, and sleep.
• Eat foods high in chlorophyll, such as wheatgrass, spirulina/chlorella, and leafy greens.
• Add some “friendly bacteria” to the gut by taking a daily probiotic.
• Get sunlight.
• Get up and move.

Check out Japan traditional food toshikoshi soba it was chosen as new year's noodles all over Japan 🇯🇵
Serio soba noodles will be served cold,
it will be hand made daily and freshly boiled.
It comes together with wasabi paste and soba sauce. 
If one soba sauce is not enough , 
u can order extra 1 soba sauce=$1
Their soba is one of the dish you must try if you have never tried hand made soba before, the silky texture for slurping as well as the faint aroma you get from the noodles as you eating it, with its topping of soba sauce will definitely keep your mouth wanting for more 🤤😍
