✅Ингредиенты:
▫️4 перца
▫️2 чашки кускуса
▫️2 стакана кипятка
▫️1 ст. л. кокосового масла
▫️1 ч. л. свежего тимьяна
▫️1 ч. л. свежего розмарина
▫️1 ч. л. шалфея
▫️1 ч. л. петрушки
▫️1 зубчик чеснока
▫️соль и перец
⠀
🥗Как готовить:
▶️Вымыть перцы и отрезать верхушку, не удаляя веточку. Положить в гриль сначала основание перцев, обжарить их с каждой стороны до готовности. Затем положить в гриль верхушки и готовить до золотистого цвета. Вместо гиря можно использовать духовку.
▶️Растопить кокосовое масло в сковороде, добавить нарезанную зелень и чеснок. Жарить в течение 5 минут на среднем огне. Переложить поджаренный чеснок и зелень в отдельную тарелку. А на сковороду добавить кипящую воду и кус-кус. Накрыть крышкой и дать постоять 10 минут.
▶️Ложкой хорошо перемешать кус-кус. Добавить соль, перец, обжаренный с зеленью чеснок. Полученной смесью заполнить каждый перец.
▶️Подавать с небольшим количеством оливкового масла.

🍓It's all about convincing your mind that you want to eat something. So, add more colors to your plate. Especially fruits - instead of a single giant bowl of one type, give yourself a visual and tastebud variety.

🍊 Don't fry your food. BAKE or TOAST it.

🍋 Ditch the milk. Add a squeeze of lemon in your hot tea, or coffee. It is refreshing and even curbs the sugar cravings.

🍏 Use a smaller plate. And ensure it looks overloaded. This is great to cut down on your portions. Because visually, your mind has been trained that you've had a loaded meal!

🥤Water isn't the only thing you'll need this summer. Add LEMON to your water. If you're feeling dehydrated, add sugar and/or salt. Lemonade is the quickest, most effective and tastiest way out of summer heat.

🍇 Chew slower, you'll feel fuller and consume less. Also you will digest better and this helps your METABOLISM rate.
DID YOU KNOW : Restaurants use music to manipulate our eating speed (slow if they want you to stay longer because the place is empty, or fast if they want you to leave quickly if the place is full). Similarly, you can play SLOW instrumental music while eating to retrain your mouth.

🍆 Take smaller BITES. Do you finish a burger in 10 seconds flat, in 4-5 bites? Well, slow down! That's a spiral downward for the body. It can only work so fast to keep up with all that you're ingesting. Smaller bites give your stomach more time to process, and less stomach aches.

  • Every one who knows me, knows I shouldn’t drink. Why you ask? #wooohoooo is the reason. I love to scream and shout when I get high. .
Recently, i got my hands on @strangerandsons and I got to make my own drink. #newhotbartenderalert it was such a fun experience. I am not a gin person but I have to say this drink was extra delicious (coz I made it, duh and ok, a little credit to their Gin) .

the whole thing is just absolutely delicious and tastes sooo nice. it is a little too salty but that’s minor. a problem i normally have with haloumi is that it tastes like rubber but in this yiros, it tastes so cheesy and nice. it’s very filling and the combination of haloumi, chips, aioli sauce and onions is just heaven 😌 portion’s are also great!!

note: the yiros shop is literally one of my go to places. they have combo meals that includes a yiros, chips and a drink. that’s pre good if you have a huge stomach but i find that the yiros fills me up so much that i can’t finish the chips. the yiros shop has 10% off for students from monday to friday so it’s a good place to check out if you’re hungry after school. make sure you check the bottom of your wrap when you’re eating so that sauce doesn’t drip out!! i had to learn that the hard way 😂 the service is pre quick too imo

  • We know you want to make them, so here's the recipe. 
Ingredients
1lt vanilla ice cream 
300g marshmallows
120g salted butter
1/3 cup smooth peanut butter
100g Chang's Crunchy Fried Noodles 
100g Chang's Fried Noodles
1 cup Malteasers

Method 
1. Line a 20x30cm pan with non-stick baking paper. 
2. Spread the ice-cream, smooth the surface and refreeze until firm. 
3. Melt the marshmallows, butter and peanut butter in a bowl over simming water until smooth. 
4. Remove bowl from heat, add noodles and coat evenly. 
5. Spoon mixture into 35x25cm tray. Press malteasers into the top of mixture and refrigerate until firm. Then cut into 8-12 bars. 
6. Sandwich icecream between two bars and serve.

  • #throwback to last week when @songfishsg had a lobster deal. One must buy two lobsters for $20.

Here we have one of the lobsters; poached, then tossed in brown butter over sautéed red cabbage and spiced pumpkin purée I had leftover from the meal prep I did for my sister. Topped it all off with a sauce made from tomalley (lobster head butter). Nothing went to waste though - the remaining lobster and accompanying shells were made into a stock which I turned into a lobster bisque for my parents’ supper (see last picture). I don’t usually do fancy stuff at home, but I felt the lobster deserved it.
