Glacial Valleys in the Cascade range. Been thinking a lot about backpacking season with all of the warm weather lately. But, alas, the mountains are still buried in snow. For another few months. It’s a short season, summer in the mountains.. but it sure is a sweet one 🏔
I haven't contributed to #waterfallwednesday in a long time, and I'm missing Oregon, so I thought I'd pay tribute to my favorite Oregon waterfall, during two different times of year. This place totally represents the wildness of Oregon for me, and I'll continue to go back again and again
Small village in the mountains, sunset and grapevines ❤️ it’s so peaceful here, I love Italian food and people, I love Italy so everything about this place is great 💛 in moments like that when I look at something that beautiful I feel grateful for my life 💛

There’s something indescribable I feel when I’m about to go somewhere new. There’s a nostalgia in my chest that erupts.

One of the best pieces of advice that I could give to people who are travelling through new places is to get off the beaten track and make time to find the places that others haven’t. The spot in this shot was at the end of a completely nondescript and un signed dirt road. Apart from the desire to explore, there was absolutely no reason to check it out but when we arrived at the end it wound up being one of the most mind blowing peninsulas that I have ever seen! The walk out was via a very thin strip of dirt (picture sheer cliffs on either side) that culminated in a natural viewing platform at the end. From there we witnessed one of the most breathtaking views of the Victorian coastline that either of us has ever seen. The other piece of advice that I would give people is to take at least one nice outfit on all adventures! Something loose and light like this outfit from the @assemblylabel is perfect. It’s about as comfortable as clothing gets and it looks moi delicious in photos! In my humble opinion at least 😌
"Maybe the moon is beautiful only because it is far." Humans have a tendency to make distant, unreachable things objects of desire.

When Phil’s siblings came to visit this past weekend they dropped off several books that their grandmother wanted to give to me. It made me feel so special because the women in the family will read several books and then mail it to the next family member. I love that she’s included me in this and I’m so excited to add my name to the list of women in the front of each book 💛
