  • Australia on sittenkin ihan okei, varsinkin kun saa asua tällaisten maisemien keskellä🤭🌊 Pieni alkukankeus on johtunu varmasti siitä, että viihdyin Espanjassa niin hyvin, että tänne sopeutuminen kesti oman aikansa. Thinking Keto or a Low Carb diet might be good to help you lose weight?
.
Before you go all hardcore on no carbs. Just think about this science if you have #hypothyroidism:
.
Thyroid needs carbs. Thyroid hormones are CRITICAL to maintain and regulate carbohydrate/energy metabolism.
.
That energy (glucose) from carbs helps fuel thyroid hormone production.
.
Parts of your brain work for thyroid hormone regulation – the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland – need glucose to function.
.
In fact, the boss regulation hormone, called Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), is made up partly of glucose molecules.
.
So could LOW CARB make your condition worse? Possibly.
.
I don’t blame anyone for wanting to try it out. I did Keto off and on for 2 years. I had hypothyroidism. Did I lose weight? Mehh..like 2 kgs / 5 lbs and then nothing. BUT WHY?
.
I saw fitness influencers doing KETO being shredded AF. “WHY is KETO not helping me? WHY am I not losing weight on a low-carb diet...”
.
Everyone else in their mother was losing 10 lbs...5 lbs..etc. But it just goes to show you that not every diet works for every BODY.
.
And you know what? Not every BODY is for a low-carb diet plan.
.
And you don’t have to do one if you’re not feeling it. Also, if you have Hypothyroidism, it could make your thyroid function much worse.
.
Personally, I like my carbs like fruits,quinoa, legumes...And I’m so HAPPY that I eat them (and don’t count calories ANYMORE). .
Being almost 10 horrible years on low carb diets...well I LOVE my life now and being 17.6 lbs slimmer.

This is my stomach this morning!!!! I'm so happy and proud about myself, you don't even know! But I still have to workout more for more definition and get rid of the last 5-7 lbs
.
Why I am that proud? Because I finally get it: it's MENTAL Lya!!!!!!
.
My trip in France really fucked my body!!! I gained "a lot of" weight that I'm having hard time to lose. Usually, due to my life style, it does take too long for me to lose some weighr when it's needed
.
But THIS time... Back home, Mom's food, Mom's food rythm, friends, family, everybody's food rythm, heavy food, SWEET... I could barely fit in my clothes once I came back...
.
Oh, and pimples... 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ now dark marks...
.
So I made a drastic decision 2 weeks ago... NO MORE SUGAR FOR 40 DAYS!!!! If you know me, sugar, Hip Hop and cheese are the only reasons why I'm in this world!!! I just eat fruits
.
I thought that I would be angey as fuck and that I'd be in a fight every 50 min. But NO! I actually enjoy that life without sugar!!!
.
And I started right before my periods... Women: you guys KNOW the sweet craving before and during the periods 😫😫😫 I didn't realize that I was about to have them before them actually came because my body wasn't asking for sweet at all! And when I have the periods crave, I go out to buy sweet and chips at THREE IN THE MORNING!! That's no joke! I even fasted for 3 days (the 3 days before my periods 😱)
.
And this morning, as I woke up, I just checked at myself and I saw my skin GLOWING, SMOOTH! I did few reaserches last night and I understood that it's because I freaking stop sugar!
.
Then I went on my scale and I dropped 5lbs 🏅🎖🏅
.
Then I looked at my stomach and I was like: "Niiiice Lya!!! Let's write a post before you start working out"
.
Long story short: EVERYTHING  IS IN YOUR MENTAL FOLKS!!!! If I have the mental strengh not to eat sweet during my periods (especially on set when they have A LOT OF free food, sweet, amazing desserts), trust me, you can conquer the world! 💪🏽👑💪🏽👑

  • Worked on legs today! Did squats, deadlifts and calf raises, and brought it together with some stairmaster cardio after (that’s my blurry thumbs up picture).

I worked a lot on my form today, it’s surprisingly hard and not super natural to me. I can’t quite figure out if my back is straight sometimes, I wonder if my spine is curved a little strangely. Does anyone have tips? I’m bracing and focusing on keeping my chest up, and activating my glutes, but something feels off.
