Let me tell you, it was the most difficult thing hitting ‘post’ on this one!! 😱 Looking back at how I treated my body when I was 36 brings up so many emotions, negative and positive all at once... Feeling sick knowing that I wasn’t happy with my body at 36, and now feeling proud as punch that I overcame my excuses and bloody did what needed to be done to get a smoking hot beach body at 41 years of age!! 🔥🔥👙👙
It didn’t happen overnight, but I utilised 2 super powers to achieve my dream body, wanna know what they are?? 😜😜 Consistency, and never giving up, boom 💥 there it is 👊

Weighing in today at 73kg down 19 since birth of bub #3 . Mostly trying to kick the sugar with a little exercise. Though ramped it up today with a 250m swim (almost died)... there's signs of an exercise plan for the week so hope to lose another 13kg fat and then gain whatever in muscle 🙏🏊♀️🧘♀️🏃♀️🏋️♀️🤸♀️

Chocolate chip protein slice (Dairy free, soy free, egg free) 🍫🍪 This is by far the best recipe I’ve ever created and becoming a regular in my Sunday meal prep for a healthy quick one handed snack #Mumlife Packed full of whole foods and using @bulknutrients Vanilla rice protein. Macros 6P 5F 11C 👌🏼 All the ingredients in these bad boys such as brewers yeast, LSA, oats, dark chocolate and chia seeds, are also well researched to potentially improve milk supply for all the BF’ing mums out there. Those that that doesn’t apply to can just as much enjoy these as a tasty nutritious snack option 🙌🏽
Supplements. There is such a wide variety, & really its an individual choice if you want to take them. They aren't magic pills that will miraculously give you the body you want, they are exactly what they say - they supplement your diet & training. Generally, if your eating a nutritionally balanced diet, they're really not going to do much for you except add extra calories to your daily count. Fat burners don't give you an excuse to eat more, nor do protein shakes justify skipping meals. Personally, my body doesn't like fat burners, they heighten my anxiety, so the only supps I use are BCAA's (let's face it, water is boring lol), a protein blend in my morning oats (as it can be 4-5hrs before I get to eat again) & whey directly after lifting, as all my high intensity classes eat up all my hard work. Depois que ele nasceu tive MUITA dificuldade de entrar na minha própria rotina. Maaaas, como tudo é uma fase, e hoje além da minha rotina ter voltado ao normal,melhorou 99% de tudo. I had no idea I'd make it this far in pregnancy with my workouts. Here I am, 38 weeks preggers today. And now trying to walk and jump this baby out 😅 jk. I've just been taking it one day at a time this whole pregnancy. The first trimester was rough and I barely worked out at all. From like 14 weeks on I started into the habit of getting in at least 4 workouts a week. I'm determined to continue until the day he comes, which can be anytime now! I love having a solid plan in place for after he is here too!
TRUFFLE TIME // These Dark Chocolate Raspberry Orange Truffles will invigorate all your senses!
125 grams dark chocolate (70 percent cocoa)
4 tablespoons milk/ milk alternative
1 teaspoon coconut oil, refined
2 tablespoons maple syrup
½ teaspoon almond extract/ vanilla extract
1 drop Wild Orange essential oil
Freeze-dried raspberries (or freeze-dried raspberry powder)
1. Combine milk/ milk alternative, coconut oil, maple syrup, and almond extract in a small saucepan on low heat.
2. Stir until ingredients are combined, but do not boil.
3. Break up chocolate into a glass mixing bowl and pour hot ingredients over chocolate.
4. Stir until smooth, then add Wild Orange essential oil to taste. Place your mixture in the refrigerator and let cool for 3 hours, or until the mixture is firm enough to hold shape.
5. Using a spoon, form chocolate into balls and roll over crushed dried raspberries. Place back in refrigerator for another 30 minutes, then remove and enjoy.
+ The dried raspberries covering the truffles are beautiful, but feel free to experiment with dried coconut flakes, crushed nuts, and (for real dark chocolate lovers) cocoa powder!
++ Almond extract can be replaced with Vanilla extract.

Day 44: 8 Week Challenge #f45challenge
I didn’t do my early morning walk this morning. . .
Because I couldn’t be bothered.
Staying in bed just appealed to me much more.
Luckily on a Tuesday Mr. Three does a class for an hour where parents aren’t involved so I was able to go for my walk a little later.
I am however feeling super low in energy today, perhaps because our toddler was in bed with us from early in the night and proceeded to knee me in the back continuously 😩
So today there is no positive outcome of moving my body. I feel just as tired after my walk as I did before.
Basically this post is me having a whinge 😂

Personal Training spaces are now available during the day. Halle is a highly qualified and experienced trainer with a Degree in Exercise Science, Diploma in Exercise Prescription and almost 20 years experience in the fitness industry. She had taken time off personal training to raise her young family and is now available for bookings!
All sessions are priced for up to two people (male or female) which allows you to split the cost with a buddy. 30-min $20 each, 45-min $25 each and 60-min $30 each. These sessions are designed for the specific needs of each individual. Grab a buddy or have a one-on-one session all to yourself!

You strap a 6kg (which is less than half the amount of weight I've put on 😬😳) medicine ball to him and tell him imagine he's doing it with worlds world hangover that has lasted 9 months 😱 fair to say he did NOT enjoy it 😂 and this just another reason why women have babies and not men 😂
