Do you want the truth about my life and death? I am Angron, the World Eater, and I am already dead. I died more than a hundred years ago, in the mountains north of the city that had enslaved me. I died after Desh'ea.
I started to treat Angron quite differently after reading Betrayer Blood for the Blood God.
He considered him a stupid butcher, but then in "War without End" he said interesting and wise words about freedom, tyranny and the Emperor. In my opinion, this is indeed an irregular primarch with his own concepts and principles.
“The thing about mistakes was that they weren’t always big, or obvious. Sometimes they were simple. Small. The decision to keep walking. To turn left instead of right. Those few extra steps in the wrong direction.”
Who doesn’t like a good story about villains? This series by @veschwab was excellent and I couldn’t resist getting my hands on this gorgeous enamel pin from @ironandinkdesigns They have so many beautiful pins it’s hard to choose!
Also, today is my birthday so I’m excited to say I’ll be cuddled up with my sweet girl reading and relaxing the day away!
Huch! 😊❤ Alles Liebe,
Two hundred years ago the chapel was build as part of a graveyard, but now only functions as a historical attraction in a small park. The park is so small that it doesn’t hold the interest of most visitors and functions mostly as a shortcut from one side to the other, but for the more inquisitive, one can hear rumors about forgotten graves that never got moved and hold the remains of the more bizarre. For shifters, these are anything but rumors. In the first decades after the second shift, the graveyard was often used for dispatched visitors. Since then most were removed and put into safe storage, but their residual energy still permeates the grounds and because of that energy, every moonless night a witch coven meets here, hidden behind illusions, performing rituals with an unknown goal.
Happy #tolkienreadingday ☘🌿🌾
March 25th is dedicated to reading some Tolkien, because it's the day in Return of the King when the One Ring was destroyed and Sauron lost all power over Middle Earth.
Do I recognize there's some inherent silliness in celebrating a day dedicated to a fictional victory over completely made up evil? Yes. But I am proud and happy to nerd out over the idea that good always wins, there is justice in the world, and happily ever after exists. Also, any excuse to pick up a book and get people reading is a good excuse. Go read. 🌾🌿☘ @jenn.mckenzie suggested a re-read of Return of the King this month, which sounded like such a great idea I started on it. Hoping to have the book done this week, so I can watch the movie 😂 This is all getting me so hyped to watch @tolkienmovie soon, too! #bookstagram#bookish#bibliophile#bookworm#bookwyrm#bookdragon#ihoardbooks#myprecious#tolkientribe#readtolkien#fantasy#epicfantasy
I've been a busy bee since my last posts, working on some upcoming collaborations I can't share yet, as well as continuing my ongoing coloring book/PDF project. I'm really excited to share the new stuff with ya'll coming up soon!
EXCERPT FROM POSTED: STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES FOR THE CONTACTING OF, AND NEGOTIATION WITH, GENIUS LOCI
Proposed NY-376, HPWL, A
Mediator: Frederick Gladstone
Compiler: Una Reed
An indirect approach was necessary. Several weeks of attempts were an absolute [redacted] waste of time because I was working under the [redacted] assumption that an offering (or 20) and a call would be enough. As they’ve always been. [redacted - see my letter to you on the 5th - U.].
It was only after exhausting the local residents’ patience, and offering every category of item I could imagine at every species of tree I could identify, that I noticed that the only thing taking interest in my activity was a small field mouse. It sampled the foods. It scurried off with the silver. [redacted - London, I’ll require some reimbursement - U.]
When it finally dawned on me I sat, put out some grain beneath a birch, and attempted to communicate when the little guy inevitably showed up.
[See Report NY-376, HPWL, B for details regarding the communications.]
The mouse lead me to the fox, the fox to the stag, and the stag to the [redacted] Genius Loci. And for the record, each entity demands the same respect you would give to the one above it.
Also for the record, should Mae or anyone else ever have to deal with a field mouse - they’re [difficult].
