This phrase has been coming to mind a lot lately, and the more I think on it, the more important I find it to be. It’s ok to ride out the high of being proud of yourself. In fact, I think it’s important. Often times, we recognize a success, or reaching a goal, or even achieving something we didn’t anticipate, but we move on fairly quickly with life without properly praising ourselves for succeeding! I mean, why not celebrate the small victories? It’ll leave you happier, and it’ll help build confidence and courage to keep trying. Hell, why not celebrate the bad too?! What comes from a bad situation? Growth and small victories, because just trying is a success. In my opinion, trying IS succeeding, even if you didn’t reach the goal in mind. FAILURE is not even giving it a go. Learning to celebrate the small victories, even if they weren’t “good”, will help replace the common feelings of self doubt and discouragement that swarm our minds with feelings of pride and confidence. So let’s celebrate the small victories this week, good or bad. It’ll help positivity remain a constant state of mind 💞

I once stumbled across a middle-of-nowhere desert oasis while drifting through the center parts of Mexico. The crystal blue waters poured out of a mountain trickling all the way down creating several little pools of natural hot springs. It was rumored a sister hot spring far more beautiful than this one was nearby but more difficult to get to and with little time left, my pit stop came to an end and I had to keep trekking through. #Getlost my friends.🏜

Hula dancing is a beautiful and graceful form of dance combining foot movement along with meaningful hand gestures to tell a story or teach a lesson. In ancient Hawaiian times, no written books of daily life or special events existed. In the absence of written language, the Hawaiian people created hula dances and chants as as a means to document significant events, history, myths, and ancestry as far back as to their first inhabiting the Hawaiian Islands sometime between 0-500 a.d.
Love has been exploding from my body, and heart. This has been the most craziest, and joy-filled season of my life. It’s carrying me each day and absolutely transforming me. I’m constantly being blown away by the love I am receiving. I have the greatest people ever. That goes for strangers as well.
