This was the first stop of our Savannah itinerary! I read about Vinnie Van Go-Gos in @southernlivingmag and knew that Brian and I had to try this (enormous) pizza for ourselves. Our review? Absolutely delicious, and a must try if you’re in the area! 😍🙌🏻🍕
How many of you spatial designers have their clients come and wanting to PMS-match every item in a space to a brand color? From rug to chair to walls to flowers? We always advice our clients that color is relative, especially if it will be viewed through specific lighting, as color reacts to light. Every materials and textures behave differently with the same color, viewed in space. It is afterall, a three dimensional space, not a print. Sometimes, eyeballing a color in a material (a good size of it, not a tiny 2”x2” swatch of something) is so much better than mechanically matching RGB. Always consider lighting: Colors for exhibit spaces that will have lighting close to daylight need to be reviewed differently than colors for event spaces that will have color changing LEDs. Lastly, as in most spaces, even when the concept is a monochromatic scheme, it is always good to use several shades of the hue to create texture and definition. #welovecolors#workingwithcolors#colors#spaces#designquotes#designwords#design#designgram#designlife#spatialdesigners#studioleft#designtheory#exhibitdesign#eventdesign#scenicdesign
