Almond flour blender pancakes⁣
.⁣
4oz of cream cheese (microwave 15-30sec)⁣
4 eggs (room temp)⁣
3/4 cup of Almond flour⁣
1 tsp baking powder⁣
1-2 Tablespoons of sweetener ⁣
1/2- 1tsp vanilla ⁣
1/8 tsp Cinnamon⁣

Coconut flour pancakes⁣
.⁣
•4oz cream cheese⁣
•4eggs⁣
•4 tableapoons of coconut flour⁣
•1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder⁣
•1-2 tablespoons of sweetener or liquid sweetener (I use liquid stevia)⁣
.⁣
Optional but I always use⁣
•1/2 tsp cinnamon⁣
•1 tsp vanilla extract⁣
•1/2 tsp maple extract⁣
.⁣
Directions:⁣
-Put all ingredients in blender or mixer. Blend for 45 seconds - 1 minute. -Let sit for 10mins before cooking -enjoy with butter and SF syrup *you can freeze and warm up in toaster or microwave.⁣

This chicken was super easy to make. I generously seasoned chicken with my favorite @flavorgod Sweet and Tangy seasoning and than wrapped each tender in half a piece of bacon. Bake in oven on a wire roasting rack for 35 mins @ 425 degrees. Super easy and tasty!

  • Most days I look in the mirror and see my old self and without even consciously knowing it, Immediately my mind is pointing out all the "obvious flaws" that I think I have
Today I looked in the mirror and maybe for the first time i ignored my flaws and celebrated how far I've come and how good I feel
Personal development... working on your mindset... deleting old thought patterns.. its hard work and sometimes you think you're stuck and you're not going anywhere.. Then one morning you'll wake up and its a world new world. All the good things and the good patterns you've been working so hard at will have finally sunk into your subconscious and YOU WILL BELIEVE. 
Today is my 7 month Keto anniversary. Total pounds lost 57.4 total body inches lost 44.5 
The wedding blouse no longer fits at all. ⁣

  • Eating healthy should not be complicated.  Sadly however, as the keto diet becomes more popular, more and  more products have come on teh market that people think they need to have to do the diet correctly.  Yes some products are nice and can be great for convenience sake, but really none of them are necessary. ⁣

If you are curious about starting to eat healthier or considering the keto diet, here is where I would start:⁣ - -⁣
1. Dispose of or donate any foods in your fridge or pantry that have any form of sugar. There are over 61 different names for sugar and be on the look out for any names that end in "-ose" like sucrose, dextrose, maltose.  Also do not consume any "natural sugars" like honey, agave, or molasses.⁣
.⁣
2. Dispose of or donate any foods in your fridge or pantry that are made from grains such as wheat, corn, rice or oats.⁣
.⁣
3. Dispose of any highly inflammatory PUFA vegetable oils such canola, soybean, corn, cottonseed, and sunflower oils⁣
.⁣
4. Start eating single ingredient foods like, meat, seafood, eggs, vegetables, nuts. And cook food in coconut oil, avocado oil, or animal fats.⁣

  • Sunday night was spent grilling up some meat & wrapping cheese around chicken and squid. I LOVE going to Korean BBQ that isnt AYCE (All you can eat). There is more quality to the food and you aren't sitting there wondering what the heck is in the marinade. Don't get me wrong it's an amazing concept when you're hungry AF.

Tableside BBQ consisted of pork belly, beef, spicy chicken & squid with cheese and tons of banchan (small side dishes). Meat is flavourful and the way its cooked is totally up to you, it pairs well with the banchan you get. The spicy chicken and squid, a dream come true because you can wrap it around cheez 🤤. This place is highly recommended, the food speaks for itself 🥑

Triglycerides are a type of fat found in the blood - high concentrations indicate an elevated risk of stroke. Before Keto, my triglycerides were slowly creeping up year after year. After more than a year on my Keto journey (and yes, with all the healthy fat I consume) my most recent lipid panel labs show my triglycerides are super LOW, my LDL (low density lipid protein) particle size puts me at a LOW RISK for diabetes and my Cardio C-reative protein level (should be less than 1 - mine is .43) puts me at a LOW RISK for cardiovascular disease.⁣⠀

    Triglycerides are a type of fat found in the blood - high concentrations indicate an elevated risk of stroke. Before Keto, my triglycerides were slowly creeping up year after year. After more than a year on my Keto journey (and yes, with all the healthy fat I consume) my most recent lipid panel labs show my triglycerides are super LOW, my LDL (low density lipid protein) particle size puts me at a LOW RISK for diabetes and my Cardio C-reative protein level (should be less than 1 - mine is .43) puts me at a LOW RISK for cardiovascular disease.⁣⠀

  • Mac n’ cheese, trees, and chicken 🐚🧀🥦 Cuing all the cozy feels with this comfort food din! 🥰 I cut up the broccolini and stirred it into the mac post-pic, which totally reminded me of dinners circa age 5 because that’s just how my mom used to serve it (who else grew up on broccoli mac n’ cheese? 🙋🏼‍♀️). -

  • This is my diet (per my doctors request) for the next month. If my liver enzymes start lowering she’ll tack on another two months, and while I’m dreading finding a way to drink 4 cups of coffee a day (my sensitive stomach wasn’t built for that life), I’m hopeful this will stop the need for a liver biopsy and help me shed some weight as a bonus!

  • I’m posting this photo again because I needed to see it. I needed to remind myself how far I’ve come. It’s been 9 months now since I started this new beginning of mine. Nine months of living on a whole new level just to fall back into my old habits. Eating whatever I want because, well emotionally, my body wanted it! .
Needless to say, my minds been self sabotaging me, telling me it’s okay, you don’t drink a 60 Oz. of tequila every two weeks now, so go ahead eat 4 burritos...instead of reminding myself what the food does to my body and how it makes me feel mentally and physically.

That’s the thing, my mind has been trained for decades to eat to feel better. To eat to numb past pains, using food as a crutch to get through life. It took me over 3 decades to come to this realization. In some cases that’s over half of someone’s lifetime! .
People look at this photo and immediately think good for her she dropped some weight. What they don’t know is the biggest weight dropped is the weight off my shoulders, the baggage I carried around in my mind for decades that constantly had me at my knees begging for a miracle, for someone to save me. What I couldn’t see because I was so lost in my past, was that I was the only one who could save myself. .
Our minds are so strong, most of us don’t even realize it has more control than what we even consciously understand. Don’t let your mind enslave you like I did mine, don’t dwell on the past unless your going to use it to fire you up to take yourselves further in life! .
Heard this today and it really hit the nail on the head. How you reflect on your past will either propel or limit you in your future.-BU
So embrace the ugliness of your past so you can create the most bright and beautiful future you can imagine!
