@muschlitzexcav8’s 390F ready to pounce.
It’s amazing how many new places I’ve visited in only a year of doing this. I write this as I’m sitting on yet another plane. Traveling is exhausting, but it’s always an adventure.
After seeing some of our photos on LinkedIn, Muschlitz found a way to reach me and there I was in Pennsylvania a few weeks later. This was my first ever trip to the state. I spent a few days cruising around in my rental minivan checking out some dirt here and more dirt there.
That’s now my weekly norm, but then it was one of my first new experiences. The whole time I was thinking “huh... I’m doing something neat.”

Everytime i see this picture I remember being stuck in the WV mountains with one of my best friends that’s become my brother over the years, pouring rain, thunder and lightning, lost in the dark with one headlight guiding two bikes and 40 miles from our campsite, we road together that night and made it back while overlooking hundred foot shear cliffs at every turn, against all odds. If you think I’m exaggerating, the truth is I didn’t even scratch the surface of what we went though that night riding home. @mph807#hatfieldmccoytrails#dirtbikes#adventure#mx#offroad#trails#dirtbike#dirt#bikes#yamaha#moments#stories#memories
Wrote this back in the beginning of November and i feel like I’ve transformed so much since then. My tone has changed greatly.
Gratefulness is a term i used to hear all the time that never truly made sense until i learned accept that everyone is exactly where they need to be.
Life is a journey. I realized that a lot of people i was criticizing, are where i once was. If I was able to get here, so can they.. when the time is right.
I’m feeling a little spicy today so I’m going to try not to offended anyone here😱
Our society has arrived at a ridiculous present. We try to keep kids healthy by pouring hand sanitizer on them. We take antibiotics at the first sign of symptoms. We clean and process food as if there was literal shit on them.
And we wear ridiculous shoes to protect us from the ground.
We must realize that there are bacteria, viruses and fungus on literally every single thing on this planet. From your mouth to the inside of your body to the floor to your food, hands, feet, grass, EVERYTHINGGG.
Stop trying to clean it. Embrace the dirty. Become one with it. Expose your body. It will get stronger as a result.
Those who get dirty, spend less time getting sick. Those who don’t wear shoes spend less time in pain and less time dealing with diseases like fungus infections. Those who get vaccinated don’t die from mismatch infectious diseases.
Exposure is the best medicine so if you want the secret to staying healthy... go out there and get fycking dirty.
My formula = don’t depend on external devices or things. It’s ok to have nice things, but don’t let them control you. Shed the shackles.
You know why I left the healthcare system.. because it’s become the business of selling people shit like pills, surgery and devices to make them more likely to get sicker later.

HOW TO RESCUE YELLOWED PILLOWS
Unfortunately it's a fact of life that over time your pillows will yellow from the natural oils in your body. But they don't have to stay that way! Learn how to make them look as good as new.
WHAT YOU NEED: - 1 cup powdered laundry detergent - 1 cup powdered dishwasher detergent - 1 cup bleach (or bleach alternative) - 1/2 cup borax
First, check the tag on your pillow to confirm that it’s washable. Most down and synthetic pillows can be safely washed! Remove the pillow case and pillow protector, if present.
The first step in the cleaning process is to soak your pillows in hot water. If you have a top-loading washing machine, you can do the soak right in your washer. For those with front-loading washers, or if your top-loader doesn’t have a soak function, you can do the soak in a separate container or in your bathtub.
Start by bringing a large pot of water to a boil on your stovetop. Stir the laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, and borax into the boiling water, and stir until the powdered ingredients dissolve. You could also pour the water into a bucket and then add the dry ingredients, if you don’t want to mix cleaning ingredients inside a cooking pot.
When the dry ingredients have dissolved into the water, pour the water into the washer (or wherever you’re soaking your pillows) along with the bleach. Then let the pillows soak in the water for about 30 minutes. You should also flip the pillows over about half-way through the soak, to make sure that they’re getting fully saturated.
Following the soak, run the pillows through a full wash cycle in your washing machine. Select the 2nd rinse option, if possible.
Finally, all that’s left to do is dry your pillows. If you have down pillows, put them into your dryer on the “fluff” or “air” setting. Synthetic pillows can be dried on low heat. Add a couple of tennis balls or homemade dryer balls to the dryer to help fluff the pillows as they dry.
My children have always loved camping and their favourite game at the moment is to set up their ‘camp’ in our garden.
This time we have used an amazing tepee from @swingznthings. It’s made from marine grade fabric so is happy to be left outside if it gets forgotten and it starts to rain and it also copes really well with the hot Aussie sun. The tepee is such a beautiful ‘base’ for their camping play. Down the front, it has wonderful wooden toggles that the children can open to crawl inside and make their beds and it is so easy to set up that even a child can do it (much better than our camping tent that can take my husband and I an age). Seriously delicious healthy banana bread. There is nothing better than baking fresh bread and using up some overripe fruit in the process.
