These were some of the movements used on my second back workout this week. still aiming to hit it 3 times a week while on prep so I will be posting one of those workouts per week!

1️⃣ DB seal row
➡️ focuses on hitting the mid to lower back and little bit of lats depending on where you pull from. Engage scapula before pull to get a better mind to muscle connection and to put more control and focus on that mid back area instead of letting lats take control.

2️⃣ kneeling cable pull downs ➡️ focuses on hitting most of the back and is great back movement to add in to your workouts as cables are a great way to keep constant tension on the muscle when using them.

3️⃣ Bar pulldowns
➡️ Focuses on hitting most of the back while also isolating mid to lower back with the extra squeeze you can get when bringing it right in to your stomach area and contracting hard for a few seconds to get that mind to muscle connecting in the mid back 🔥

➡️ another week of training ✅ slowly tapering down in weight and still aiming to make progress as I go 👀

  • Operation removal of the 'dad bod' approaching the 4 week marker! Eating alot cleaner and cutting out all the junk food in work during the week! Few small noticeable changes around the love jugs section and gut but a step in the right direction! Small progress is still progress 😁🤘
Roll on next month to i start the gym and start lifting some weights 👌

I have been completely surprised by our cardiovascular class. I used to think the heart was boring, but there is a lot that goes into it, and blood disorders are pretty interesting too.
