Canada is fast becoming a top destination for student, tourist, skilled immigrant, investors and entrepreneurs.
Many times I have heard people who receive negative outcomes, put all the blame on the visa officer forgetting that Canadian visa application is Non appearance and as such, the onus is on you to convince the case officer on why he or she should grant you the visa.
Immigration officers that work in all of Canada high commission all over the world are men and woman who put in hours every year looking at different kinds of application. They have seen it all in terms of documentation to be able to make a sound judgment.
Now let's take a look at the two screenshots below:
The first is a rejection letter someone sent to me ( some people come to you only when their visa application get denied). Its okay to apply for visa on your own but what do you do when the visa gets denied? Thats why you need a consultant.
The second screenshot is a passport request letter from the embassy for the same client after we stepped in.
The question is what did we do differently that changed the mind of the visa officer?
Note that the visa officer did not change his or her mind because the client decided to use a consultant. Far from it.
Now let's discuss what must have caused the change of mind.
I said earlier that Canadian visa application is Non appearance so the responsibility is on you to convince the case officer with your document. Its not enough to show a bank statement running into millions, a lot of people have done that in the past and never returned back to their home country.
Also visa officers are bounded by immigration laws so if your visa application is denied, there is a section of the law that is always applicable.
For our case study, the first application was rejected on four grounds( if you know you know). 1.Travel history
2 purpose of visit
The rejection letter may not state it the way I presented it above but majority of rejections is usually based on this four. #expressentry#canadatravel#canadastudentvisa #canadapermanentresidentvisa#visitingcanada#studyincanada
I can’t believe we have been out of our 🏠 for over 7 months now!
Time has flown by!
What a whirlwind of an adventure this has been.
I have learned so much! I have learned a lot more about myself and how adaptive and flexible I have become, especially when things go wrong.
I’ve learned that I can bake in the trailer! 😍 baking with a propane oven and an electric microwave/convection oven sure are interesting... *I may have burned some stuff*
I have also learned, that I can workout in the trailer. Don’t give me your bullshit excuse that job don’t have enough space... Chris and I have become closer and work WAY better as a team! Especially when it comes to hooking up and or disconnecting the trailer. #imsorryforthethingisaid 🤣 or finding ways to hang a rope for clothes to dry.
The one thing when we set out on our journey that I will never forget and the thing that kept pushing me to move forward. Especially with the stress of selling a house, being in school, working and all the other 💩 life throws at us.
I had a vision, a goal, a dream! I kept that dream fresh in my mind everyday.
To be honest!! The reason we started this journey wasn’t even about us at the beginning... well kinda! It was so we could spend QUALITY time with my grams before she passed! Let me tell you, money can buy you many things, but money will NEVER replace time!
Whatever your goals and dreams are! Don’t let someone else’s opinion stop you.
If that was the case *and trust me people had and have all sorts of opinions*
