One long session! This girl was real trooper, sitting still for 8h.
This is new approach for me, i want to move to more abstract tattoos. Just searching for my voice, trying new ways of work. I want to develop fast technique, reason is i want to do huge works fast. When you try to do teqnical perfection in tattoo, its take a huge amounth of time, one sleeve can take 5-10 day sessions (about 40-80h) and its cost alot. But same time perfect tattoos look like prints on body, they lose dinamics, lose feelings, they become dead. I want to work faster, to be able finish sleeve in 2-4 sessions, make it more raw, to have reasonable dirt in it, have dinamics and work with shape of body. Its my first steps, i still feeling like kinda conservative view is holding me inside, i want to have it more loose, but my brains fight back, trying put me in thing i already know. Hope you like it, and i really love to hear feedback from you guys.
It was fun and definitely a challenge to express beautiful fluffy cotton with a simple line. Your feedback has been so positive, thank you.
At the moment I am super busy with client work (which I love) but also desperate to get back into illustrating. Any special requests when I do?!
In its early stages The Portrait of the Cloud 1 began to develop its own character, but as could be expected orb like features became more apparent upon coming closer to earth, for a moment it looked like it would settle on the body of water. Possibly not.
