warm + crispy sourdough is one of my absolute favorites, and this trio never fails to hit the spot! 💃
I feel the beginnings of a cold coming on (I literally haven’t been sick in about 2.5 years 😅) so hopefully I can kick it in the butt quickly! I’ll just be spending the day doing school work before I head into actual work tonight!

  • Breakfast looking fine as heck and was also quick as heck to start my busy day. 🙃 On days where my schedule is packed from the minute I wake up to the minute I go to bed, it’s even more important for me to make sure I have lots of snacks to keep me going. 🍊 So those $2.50 sumo oranges are coming in handy today. 😏 I’d like to say that I wish they were in season longer but I’d be living in a box eventually if that were the case.

  • Ensinei hoje no Café da @91fmnatal, uma receita  com peixe para o período da quaresma: o peixe a papilote. Trata-se de um assado de filé de peixe com legumes fatiados. O prato é muito suculento e delicioso! Anota aí!

Os ingredientes são: 4 filés de peixe (robalo, pargo, merluza ou badejo); 1 alho poró cortado em rodelas; 1 cebola pequena cortada em rodelas; Alcaparras a gosto; Fatias finas de limão; Azeite, alho, sal e pimenta a gosto; 4 quadrados de papel aluminio de 30x30 cm (aproximadamente).

O modo de preparo é assim: Tempere os filés com o sal, pimenta e alho. Sobre a folha de papel alumínio com o lado brilhante para cima, faça uma caminha com rodelas de alho poró, cebola e azeite. Disponha um filé sobre essa caminha e cubra com mais alho poró, cebola e azeite. Coloque duas rodelas finas de limão sobre o peixe e algumas alcaparras. Feche o papel alumínio como um envelope, tendo cuidado de não deixar nem um orifício. Leve para assar em forno médio por cerca de 15 minutinhos. Sirva no papelote, acompanhado de batatas cozidas e aspargos.

  • I had a very indulgent breakfast without the guilt. Entire breakfast was 9 points, I used a sugar free type syrup.  Skinny Pancakes
-1 banana, mashed
-1/2 c flour
-1 egg white
-1/2 c 0% fat Greek yogurt -1/2 tsp. vanilla extract -1 tsp. baking powder
-1/4 tsp cinnamon -1/4 c skim milk

Mash banana well and mix with egg white, vanilla extract, Greek yogurt, and milk. Then add cinnamon, baking powder, and flour. Mix well you made need to add 1-2 tbsp more of milk if batter is too thick. Use 1/3 c to make small pancakes in pan. Recipe makes 7 pancakes. Each pancake is 1 WW point. Entire batter is 7 points if you make some pancakes larger which is why I only ended up with 5 pancakes.  #breakfast #wwfreestyle #wwbreakfast #bananapancakes #healthybreakfastideas #breakfastpoints
