  • Back, Tri, & Shoulder day:

3 cups of black coffee & an unflavored protein shake

1km warmup run, followed by 4 60 second intervals with 30 seconds rest

Stretch, warmup, drink greens smoothie

Alternating lifting sets (back, tricep, shoulder)

5x5 reverse grip rows
5x5 tricep pressdown
5x5 side raises

5x5 last pulldowns
5x5 rope tricep pressdowns
5x5 reverse flys

💡This week we're going through some movements to build a stronger back through one of our favorite movements - the row

🏋️‍♂️When I work with athletes dealing with shoulder injuries, there is commonly an imbalance between how much (and how well) they're rowing compared to other movements. So often people come on with strong pressing and vertical pulling, while rows are either weak or poorly implemented into their program
.
💪🏼 You can build a strong back even when you're not directly training the back. Lift some heavy things, row, and pull yourself to a stronger back
.
