Exploring a familiar city, Jerusalem. My husband and I were fortunate to live in Jerusalem for a short period of time due to his career. One of the oldest cities in the world and is holy for Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Pictured in front of Jaffa gate, one of seven main open gates to Jerusalem’s old city. 🕊✨

Day 7- The Wonder of Yosemite Valley
Oldman Jonathan Loh booked us on a Glacier Valley Tour this morning at 8am.
Yosemite National Park has been touted by many to be among the most beautiful places in the world even my bff Stella felt that way too. In the world. That is a very tall measure! With such a claim it’s impossible not to ponder: ‘how beautiful can it really be?’ As the tour bus drives into the valley we were eager for it to show itself, to reveal its unmatchable beauty.
Chasing the meandering Merced River deep into Yosemite National Park I found myself glued to the window, eyes wide with wonder at the stunning scenery indeed. The twists and hairpin turns on Wawona (Glacier Point Road) still make me feel intimidated, but the views that wait around the bend make it all worthwhile. I must comment that my tour guide cum bus driver makes a fantastic Gran Turismo Rally driver! She is totally skillful as she takes us thru in her Recaro seat.
First Stop- Glacier Point. This is the best place in the park to experience the Yosemite high-country while observing panoramic views of Half Dome, various distant waterfalls, and the whole of the valley floor — in other words, the best of Yosemite within one gaze.
We passed by a few key view points for great opportunities to snap photos on the bus but we didn't get down to breathe in the stunning vistas.
It was a day I will never forget and left me with a cherished and lasting feeling of need to be surrounded by nature that is difficult (not impossible) in my everyday busy life of full-time employment.
I have one because this is what I really want to focus on more than anything else this week and that is:
I AM ENOUGH!
I feel that sometimes I can get lost in quite a lot and forget that I am enough and not to feel less in situations I am in.
Listen we all are enough dammit!! If people don’t see that then whatever, as I realised for a very long time it is not really for them to see, it is for me to see. period.
What is your affirmations for this week? If you have none, just know you are enough and don’t you forget that either! 😉
