There is a serenity to this, the tentacles lazily drifting behind the octopus, with the sunbeams coming from above!
The only solid structure in an octopus’s body is its beak, they have no skeleton to speak of. This allows them to contort in infinite variety!
Would you like to live such an experience with a Gray whale? 😍
San Ignacio Lagoon in Baja California is one of the few places in the world where whales actively seek out humans, an act that has been practiced by whales for over 40 years. ⛵
« No one knows why gray whales come so close as to let us touch them and their newborn calves. It’s one of the greater mysteries in the natural world. No other wild mammal—or other large vertebrate—brings its offspring close enough to people for physical contact. It’s awe inspiring. No matter how often I go back to San Ignacio, I’m filled with the same sense of wonder and exuberance! »

PLASTIC is everywhere.. 😲 Did you know that more than 5 trillion pieces of plastic are floating in our oceans??
🐦 Did you know that by 2050 virtually every seabird on the planet will be eating plastic??
💵 Did you know that nearly 1 million plastic beverage bottles are sold every minute?? ⏳ Did u know that plastic endures from 450 years to forever..?? I could go on.. ⠀⠀
So here's the thing. My husband 👫 makes fun of me for trying to save the 🌏, but that's not it at all. I want to do my part while on this Earth. I think its our responsibility to protect our waters, lakes, oceans🌊, rivers, and the life around it. If I can change just a few of our "throw-away" habits and lifestyle - that actually are cost💲effective AND decrease our plastic consumption - I will be satisfied. Not trying to be a hero here..
I won't be changing the World anytime soon, but I'd like to think together we could by being more aware of our own habits. ⠀⠀
Here are some small bags used to store fruit 🍇 or veggies🍠 instead of using plastic bags at the 🏪. I added some other ideas in my story so check them out and let me know what you have found to be helpful! ⠀⠀ #wellnessjourney#ocean#motherhoodrising#naturegeography#naturelover#naturesbeauty#underwater#goodthoughts#beautifuldestinations#optoutside#sealife#sealovers#water_of_our_world#cleanliving#greenlifestyle#healthyhappylife#healthmatters#liveinspired#naturalhealth#natgeowild#wildlifeplanet
As it would be quite a bit of shock for my feed to change from snow to beach pictures, here is a picture of some "sea life" taken today at the Key West habour. What you cannot see is that there is a guy with some snacks just next to the animals, hence their excited look
