Being healthy is not just taking care of the body, but also taking care of the mind. Life will get hard and you will be tested. It is important to keep a healthy head space if you are going to conquer these battles. I had the chance to take a breath of fresh air in Sedona this weekend with my dad and learned after that it was much needed. Keep those who care about you in your life close and let all the others do as they may, but remember that only you can truly bring yourself to serenity. Walk on💪🏼
I think it’s good to make the most of an offseason and going out whenever you get the chance. Dieting for competitions can get hard with cravings and maintaining discipline for 3-4 months at a time and even during offseason you should realistically be dieting to avoid just blowing out completely. But as long as you’re not blown out, still training hard and still progressing in the gym I don’t see why some jack daniels on the odd occasion would hurt 🤷♂️
