I’m super competitive.🤷🏻♂️ Those who played with me know that I always bring my best. All the time.🔥
I keep applying that competitiveness mindset in my personal and professional life.
That’s why I’m going back to school.🎓 It’s time to make my masters.
Take my skill set to another level. 📈
Last night at #KALEO we were able to hear from those in our community who were on mission last week and hear how God worked and moved across different nations! Then, Tim brought a powerful message about how Jesus is ENOUGH for today. We were given a major reminder from scripture that HE is our sustainer and provider. Each day we can wake up knowing:
He loves us and we matter to God (Exodus 15:1-21)
God will fight our battles (Exodus 14:10-14)
He will provide our physical needs (Matthew 6:25)
God will go with you through the day - He is giving us Himself (Exodus 33:14)
We have an opportunity to reflect to the world that our God is enough for today (Exodus 34:10)
This was half of my original design for the #NXTTAKEOVER ad ( originally I had Adam Cole in the composition too but ultimately hated how he came out so I scraped the whole thing and went with the title) I usually don't draw "real humans" but I was extremely happy with how the @thejohnnygargano illustration came out so I made it its own thing! I can only get better if I practice so I'll be working on my next "real person" design soon.
Blackboards were blurry. Road signs were hard to make out and I couldn't recognize friends faces from a distance. .
Then I failed my vision test when I went to get my driving permit. I was 15 years old and had no idea that squinting to see distance wasn't something everyone did. .
My world changed the moment I walked out of the Doctor’s office with glasses. Trees were no longer a green blob... they had leaves. Blackboards became sharp. Road signs made sense. Friends were recognized. .
Being able to see clearly is a wonderful thing! It's not only true physically, it's also true spiritually. And in the seasons of life when we just can't see clearly it's amazing to know that our God can. .
